  1. He obviously means "bar" work, as in prostitution.

You have to take your chances and be honest in the interview.

Lying on the application about not having any other passports, something they can easily search if it's in the same name, would be an automatic denial, interview or not.

Above all, they value honesty. Although, I imagine avoiding prostitutes is probably of equal importance.

Regardless, if the travel was truly for singing, the truth will come out.

Don't short change yourself by lying.

  2. For her to come here and visit, to see if she likes it here and wants to move here, she could come on a tourist visa, but I have read it's difficult for a young Thai woman to get it. That does not require engagement or marriage, and you can take it slow and feel your way through it. But it's not a guaranteed approval, and chances can be improved with a job, property in her name, bank account with enough funds for her trip, a travel itinerary, or a letter of invitation from your or more people. I am no expert on a tourist visa, I went the fiance visa route, but it is an option, albeit a small chance as I said. I'm sure others will have input on the matter.

  3. This is the line concerning me:

Requesting letter from the embassy of the country to which the applicant plans to travel. A notice from the US Embassy regarding your case (i.e. a packet 3 cover letter) can be used for this purpose.

Did you obtain police certificate without an embassy letter?

  4. We have received our NOA2, but is still at NVC. My fiancee will be in Bangkok soon, can she get the police certificate without a letter from the embassy? Can she show NOA2, my passport, a letter from me, and the downloaded packet 3 and be ok?

  5. I just got a new job, right around the time of NOA 2. I have my last paystubs from my previous job. I have an offer letter from my new job, and I have a pay stub from this new job (matches the offer letter). Both are well above poverty. Should this be sufficient for the embassy? The offer letter is not signed, but it is on company letterhead and matches the amount of my new pay stub. Do I need to get an actual letter of employment too?

  6. For the letter of Intent, sign both. Print English and sign in Thai.

G325A Print your name in the box in English, I think they will use this box to file your application alphabetically. Write your name in Thai where it asks for native alphabet.

G325A form is now only 1 copy, don't worry about the 4 copies comment you've seen. see http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/357037-form-g325a-4-copies/

By the way, you're so lucky. All new filers are being routed to CSC, you will be approved in weeks, not months. She could be here in 2-3 months easy, not 10-12.
