Thank you @brien0512, that would have been really nice!  Unfortunately this lady had no nice intentions like that, she just told me "you're done, we will contact you about the next steps, goodbye". She was generally annoyed it seemed like - and was clearly not having a good day. I would have liked to look normal on that picture, or at least semi-presentable, but oh well, I will get over it haha. I hope she cheered up and was nicer to the people coming after me. On a positive note: the security guards, and the reception lady, at that office were super friendly 🙂

Get passport right away after the oath n this time make sure ur pic look good then hide the naturalizatuon certificate 😂😂 well atleast on your passport you look great 😂😂 dont be like my husband who hates hes own passport coz he looks terrible 😂😂😂

I know!!!!! That is the saddest part...i had nice clothes on and everything! The lady kept saying look here, and I was like..where?? I can't see. And she just kept saying move your head this way and chin down, she kept saying that, and then suddenly...CLICK! No chance to change it😐crazyface doublechin forever now😅I'll just have to try getting really nice passport pictures when get that far haha...hide the certificate forever😋

Im near sighted n i also took my eyeglass when i had my picture but after she click it she ask me if its  ok n she think it was a good pic so i told her yes its okey... i wish who ever took pic of u showed u if u approved it just like in our bmv they usually show us the pic before they print it to our drivers license

I did my biometrics this morning☺ just 4 fingers on the right hand (code 5), signature and picture. The picture is the worst ever...worse than my drivers license lol! Had to take my glasses off and couldn't see where I was supposed to look...so hello crazyface doublechin lmao👹 also, I had checked off my haircolor as brown on the sign in paperwork...but it is currently colored red, so the officer changed it on the paper. Fast n easy appointment - not rly worth the 9 hours travel, but necessary! So I'm stoked that part is done😄now to study the questions!!

Just to let you guys know their going to use those picture on ur naturalization certificate make sure you look good 😂😂😂

Congratulations! I guess East Coast is moving faster than West Coast. I will wait until the end of this month hopefully by then I'll hear something. So how does one set up an Info Pass appointment if the Field Office doesn't even let you schedule one. By Calling USCIS ?! Is your friend getting N400 through Marriage in California ?!

Yes we both came here with fiancee visa n what i heard california takes 6 months to 12 months when it comes to n400.. bout infopass its really up to ur local office.. they usually do infopass depends on ur inquiry or case

I Submitted my ROC on Dec 26, 2017. Online the Status is Case Transferred to a different Office on June 18, 2018. When I call the 1-800 Number it appears the Case is being processed in Laguna Niguel CA. I also Applied for N400 in the 1st week of February 2019 completed Biometrics on Feb 27. No updates after that for Both I-751 and N-400 and it looks like San Francisco, CA is not accepting any Walk-In Appointments or InfoPass when I check from USCIS website. Also Processing time shows for I 751 for CSC they are processing November 03, 2017 As of now. August 2019 is when my 18 Month Extension Expires. How much longer is the wait?! My WAC # is WAC18087004XX for my I 751. Anyone is the Similar WAC # Range Still Waiting?! Please Respond. Thank you.

Well mine is wac18089005xx but im in ohio we got same expiration date on extension letter then filed n400 both got approved n i just got my oath ceremony last friday.. my friend from california filed n400 last december 2018 until now she doesnt have any news not even biometric

    Good Morning all,

Quick question. Looking at my case online it says estimated case competition time December (7 months), but then when I look below to case status, it says we received your application etc.. and underneath it says estimated wait time 2 months...

What is the different between these two dates? Early morning so might be missing some obvious.

    Thank you

Naaa just ignore it.. mine says estimated completion is 12 months but im done in 3 months

Best of luck to all of you.

Filed my N-400 on 01/22/2019 to Louisville TX address.

    02/20/2019 Biometrics

    03/12/2019 Interview scheduled

    04/22/2019 Interview/Tampa

    04/22/2019 You attended your interview

    04/23/3019 Approved

04/24/2019 We have scheduled your oath ceremony.

But the other website for case status online shows 'case was submitted for quality review'.

Still no letter in my documents or in the mail.

    Anyone else experienced this?

How long does it take to post the document online?

How long after a document is posted online do you usually recieve the actual letter in the mail?

    Thanks

The letter shows in doc tab after 2 days but i wasnt able to open it due to 500 error after 4 days i got the physical letter

I have the date of my citizenship interview, but my I-751 is still pending.  How do I know for sure that it's a combo

When i got my interview letter my I-751 wer also pending but i just crossed my finger hoping for combo interview , i prepared everything for interview just incase, i review my I-751 n so my n400 application n i told my husband to prepare for personal question regarding our relationship but he answered back i got nothing to hide lol.. on the day of my interview i was called n so my husband from that moment i knew it was a combo interview and the IO told me hes going to interview me first for I-751 then N400.. it was piece of cake .. just review ur I-751  n so n400 n you will be fine

  9. I have told people many many times not to pay attention or give credence to USCIS' N400 completion time. Time and time again it has proven not to be accurate.

@brien0512, your assertion is a complete testimony of what I have been saying.

    Congratulations!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Thank you... yes completion time are mostly depends on how fast the local office handle the application,  when i heard that my local office which is cincinnati ohio handle application really fast i decided to apply for n400 than waiting forever for I-751 to get approved...n glad i did coz i got approved both n400 n I-751 with combo interview...

Anyone know why the general processing time from USCIS may not match your estimated case completion time?

At my local office, in Milwaukee WI, I'm given a 8-12 month window, but when I log in they give me approximately 18 months (Oct '20) for it to be done?

My estimated case completion is 12 months but im done in 3 months i apply january done by april

I can't believe I've been checking my status since I first immigrated through the wrong website lol!

I always log in through USCIS.gov, which takes me to a different page and definitely isn't as thorough.

Wow, thank you so much @brien0512

We learn something new every day, right lol.

@Vikingoutwest I'm with you two, now, because I just clicked my receipt notice under Documents, and got a 500 error as well.

    Thanks again, I appreciate

Your welcome but you can use both link...

@Vikingoutwest any way you could send me a screenshot of this document tab (obviously blurring out any personal info that may appear) or of the top of your myUSCIS page? I'm confused as I don't see anything like that on my page.

oh and when I click "My Cases", I'm sent to a page that lists all my cases, then when I click the receipt number for my n400, it gives me the following:
