  1. just confirm then this is the correct list? as no one seems to have said yes or no ? i only ask as I'm awaiting my interview appointment after having my medial last week.

This should be sufficient. As I told my fiancé...better to be safe and take more...then be sorry and forget something. They asked for minimal things at Scott's interview, support paperwork, police cert, Birth cert, and passport. :)

    And oops...husband now lol.

  2. That is ridiculous considering he could be stood right there in front of them. He's clearly in the USA! They must be able to do something, because it's too important for them to just say 'ah well' and shrug their shoulders?!

I know, the borders officer took Scott's passport, saw the date stamp, visa, etc. showed her the marriage cert, etc. still couldn't help us. She couldn't say why, other then "it's too late in the day." What?!?!! It was 3:00

  3. Did you contact your closest Deferred Inspection location? A non-airport location is better. Make an appointment if it isn't too far. List http://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/documents/deferred_inspection_sites_072115_1.xls

Also, are you getting anything like his name or simply nothing when you put in his passport number? Wondering if you used letter O for Zero or One for letter i Any mistakes like that?

Does anything look unusual on the biographic part of the passport?

    UKJONES>>>TOM>Paul>>>>>>

Sometimes names are run together like TOMPAUL instead of TOM>>PAUL>>>

I finally called and my local non airport deffered border patrol is seeing us now. Hoping its nothing major

  4. Unfortunately this would not be an embassy problem.. this is a CBP problem for sure. Though I'm not sure how to solve this one. :/ CBP is going to have to assist somehow, as it would be impossible for him to return and fix it himself. Nich-Nick might have some insight.

We married this past Saturday, but you are right. For whatever reason, we've had the worst luck With this process. I feel like everyone keeps passing blame and no one will help.

  5. Take the application instructions with you to show that a k-1 visa holder is eligible for an SSN.

As for the i-94, that's weird that he's not in the system yet. Did you try downloading it again today? It will say the day he landed, when it expires, and what type of visa he came in on.

We are checking it now and it still says he's not in the U.S. He's fresking out. Ugh...I've called so many people and no one can help us
