Either way you are doing this via IMB or just yourself it would be a matter of proving bonafide relationship in front of interview. If I were you I wouldn't even pay IMB and file everything myself. Since I see from your timeline, you are engaged. She came here many times and returned back to home. I'd say you are golden, file yourself keep $375 to yourself and do it yourself. No need to pay 3rd party and let them meddle with your own business. You could meet on some website that is not a big deal. It is how you know each other now and love each other. That is all matters! Your fiancé will have to prove on the interview date, how she knows you , what you have done together until now, how many times you have met. If no lies then you are golden and will get approved faster than speed of lighting. Cheers

The best way is filing 129-F fiancee visa. This will give you strong upper hand on the interview day that she visited you and returned back home and waited for 129-F K1visa to be approved. Best scenario, IMHO.

when i made calls into ISOs, i had pointed questions to ask. maybe you can search VJ and compile a list of pointed questions that will be useful for an ISO to answer. 'Seeking Status' was never enough on my phone calls.

Con!grats! Go ahead and tell her the good News!! Once it is received by NVC and case and Invoice # is given it will be forwarded to the Embassy. In your case it will be sent to the Phillippines Embassy. You will need to follow the procedures for that specific embassy since each embassy has diffetent procedural requirements..
Here is the link to the Embassy Info.

If he is doing this first time, and if you weren't hospitalized he could get away with Pre Trial Intervention(PTI). Since there is no hospitalization then it could be a misdemeanor and your husband can plea guilty of charges in front of Judge. Judge might grant PTI program if he believes the this is a misdemeanor and he could go to Anger Management classes. After finishing Anger Management classes he could expunge his CDV record via solicitor. Again if the case is misdemeanor and if it is not felony (meaning if he has done this twice he cannot get away with) you have a chance. You really need to talk to a professional Lawyer who has experience with Immigration and Domestic Violence..Just my two cents..
The best revenge is to forgive someone and let the Karma do the job. Hopefully you will find the peace one day..

Inconsistencies in your relationship could mean for example you state you have been involved with this person for X # of years yet you cannot answer simple questions about them etc. Here are some of the reasons I found from others on VJ in your situation that were denied. Maybe you can review with your fiance to see if any of these happened in the interview.
    K1 Visas
-1 applications are subject to the same review standards as immigrant visa applications. The main reasons for visa refusal are: lacking documentation; need to review or verify evidence; lack of a petitionable relationship; misrepresentation of the facts;. A common basis for refusal is a prior marriage for the beneficiary or the petitioner that has not been legally terminated.
Lack of proof of bonafide relationship, not free to marry, already married ( in their eyes ) not enough money for affidavit , fiancé doesn't know details of work or family
didn't meet within 2 years, did not adhere to the cultural norms (such as didn't have an engagement ceremony when this is customary for the local culture, or one fiancé is much older than the other when this is unusual for the local culture). A very large age difference between the couple can cause concern. However, there is no specific age limitation.
Relationship a scam for immigration purposes only.
No common language/They are paying attention to Skype logs, wanting to make sure you can communicate together.
Fiancee commits a misrepresentation during the interview (or so it seems to the interviewing officer)
Fiancee interviews poorly and the consul doubts that there is a bona fide relationship with the U.S. citizen
Inability to establish concrete evidence to demonstrate to the CO that relationship is genuine.
Usually when K-1's are sent back to USCIS the petition will expire before it is re-adjudicated. You will most likely have to file again or get married and file an I-130. Before re-filing you must find out the specific reasons for denial, and address those reasons, or filing a new petition will most likely be denied as well.

I understand that you feel like a 2x4 hit you upside the head and yes it is hard to deal with a refusal.
We were in AP for 16 months and our case was returned to USCIS where it expired so we had to file another petition.
As of now you have not been denied, only refused and are under an investigative process.
You can be proactive and assertive with a senatorial request for a second interview and more evidence submission regarding
the F1 issue and if you are still there you can try to see if the section chief will see you and at least he will hear about you trying to
get a turn around in case they think about returning the case.
