My Husband Arrived here on Thanksgiving Day. I give all praises and Glory to God. Visa fee was paid before he left. (IR-1 Visa will be given). Thank you so much my VJ members. Dwheels as usual you are the best. God will continue bless you for all you are doing. The one thing I must say that I learned is to continue to Trust the Lord, even during delays. Good luck to everyone, wishing everyone happy endings.

Hubby's interview this Thursday at Lagos Embassy... Will for sure post questions he was asked during the interview. Wish us luck

Though our approval was November 18th, I came on over to the January forum because i want to see many of you (who've been in the previous month's forums along with me) get your approval!
Btw, we're still waiting for the visa to be in hand. Our case changed to "issued" on the afternoon of the 22nd. Waiting to actually have it is nerve-racking.

Congratulations to everyone who got their Visa approval recently

Yep once it shows issued give it two business day and go pick it up congrants every one !!!!

I randomly checked CEAC tonight and wow to my surprise, it says issued!
Wow! This journey is soon to be over!
My husband picks up passport with visa in it on Tuesday the 24th, and he flies out the 29th to arrive into my arms on December 1st!!

Hello My fellow VJ members, just an update after dropping off the necessary documents on the 10th. It was stuck at
"READY" until the the 17th....on the 18th it changed to Administrative Processing. On the 19th very early in the morning, less than 24 hours it changed to "ISSUED"????. I Give all Praise to God. He will try and pick it up on Monday.

So So Happy for you guys......Happy Married Life...Enjoy????

Today my husband had his CR1 interview. He had to wait close to 5 HOURS before it was finally his turn, but when he was called in to talk with the consulate, he wasn't asked even one question. We went through a K1 visa process in 2014, then back for CR1 now (long story), When he went in, he saw it was the same person who interviewed him for the K1. The consulate smiled and said, "Welcome back. We meet again!" then he told him, "Congratulations! You're on your way back to your wife! I hope this time everything works out great." and then gave him back our evidence of relationship that we sent to USCIS and NVC, and the approval document. My husband was baffled that he wasn't asked even one question! God is great! I'm so thankful we're approved! I have to keep pinching myself! Thank you to everyone who prayed for us! <3

YEAH! only 5 more days! Oh my gosh you are soooo close now to diving into each other's arms. Praise God!

Just an update my husband dropped off the required paper work and his passport to the location where you would pick up your visa yesterday, after they made sure he submitted the right documents, they gave him the white sheet of paper with the circled location to pickup the visa in 5 business days. I pray the paper work is sufficient enough. I will not be at peace until visa is in his hands.

Thank you everyone for all your help with this journey. I am so happy to say its finally over I picked up my husband at the airport today. He is finally home with me

Back when we went through K1, we weren't informed that my income wasn't going to be acceptable without a co-sponsor, until my husband was at the interview. We we're in AP until we produced the needed co-sponsor. Within a week after submitting the needed documents, the visa was issued.
