I am a Nigerian and My advise to u is very simple, wait for ur husband to come and he should open bank account in his name then send it to his family and do d transaction himself, pls stay away from it

ok let me get this correct, just making sure. the husband is going to give all the people that owe the sister money the spouse US banking account number and put what they owe in it ? my answer , NO . giving over banking information to different people in different locations seems not a smart idea. but that's just my thought

Well that's weird. It can be normal tho. Call back tomorrow to confirm. When we sent out our civil documents and affidavit of support our tracking number showed delivered on Friday April 24th I called that day and representative told me they haven't received it yet. I called Monday and they still told me they haven't received it. On Tuesday we received an email stating they received our documents on Friday April 24th. Smh. Usually 3 N/A means CC. Keep calling, try a different cust service rep:-)

I can't speak to CR-1/IR-1 but the K1 process was easy for my 17 & 20yr old stepsons. They just asked one about his birthday since he had got a year older since the original app was filled out. The boys then went and sat down while their mother was interviewed. They are on a plane from Nairobi to Seattle as I type this! Best wishes!

Called and got to know about CC. However, still see 2 N/A instead of 3. The rep said it takes time to update.

So I called NVC to see if I have an interview date yet . The rep was really nice she said I see you've been calling your last call was 2 days ago but we still waiting on a slot from your embassy. They track your calls.

Been refreshing my ceac portal all through the day.. i guess i just have to stop... is it a case of "a watched pot never boils?" :clock: :clock:

We were only able to submit the DS-260 on May 13 (almost a week ago today). The IV fee was unavailable for two weeks from when I had the DS-261 reviewed, and I had to go under supervisor review to get it unlocked. I'm not sure if we'll have to wait for 30 days to pass after submitting the DS-260 or not - I'm going off of what rachel23 is saying about when she calls. On Thursday (my 30/30) I'm going to call if I don't have 3 N/A, so I'll update you at that time about what they say to me.

I feel you. SD 04/21 here. I'm worried that they're going to tell me I have to wait for my DS-260 to be reviewed, since it got locked in the system for an unusual amount of time before I was able to submit it, but I still keep checking ceac. Ugh.

The guy is just buying time till he is able to remove the conditions of his GC its as simple as that. He is very cunning/or a friend, who knows him keeping in touch with you will serve him well at the interview. He is baiting you that you guys will work on your marriage and obviously texting you every day to hold you down.
Reporting him to Immigration, I honestly don't think is an option because what crime has he done? But you could write USCIS and explain that you believe the guy had just the intent of papers and that could bite his behind when he tries to remove the conditions.
Sorry to say this but this guy is a user and not ashamed to do so!

CeeMu I'm afraid our review won't be of much help. We are coming off a denial from a previous K1 petition back in 2012. The CO did comment that all of our paperwork was in perfect order and he had no questions to ask of him nor did he want to see anything my husband brought! That made me feel really good since I painstakingly put everything together and quadruple checked it before I mailed it in LOL The CO only wanted the 2014 tax transcript. He only asked about 5 questions and all were based on that previous denial so I would say my husband's interview was atypical of most interviews. Sorry we can't help further in that respect.

We hope this week will be thee end of all April SDs, by the grace of God.
