Thank you for the answer. Sent to the Embassy?so it is normal, standart process? And the NVC will schedule the interview or Embassy, did the NVC request some  newdocuments?

The AP is the standard procedure before it gets shipped.   It’s processed then sent to the Embasy.  Once you are reaffirmed nbc don’t request for anything.  All they do is process and ship it.   Before, the Embasy used to schedule the interview now I think you have to schedule it Online.

U wlc that's what we are here for others assist me as well so it's time for me to give back, some ppl disappear once their visa approved but God willing I will be here to celebrate the happy ending with everyone who's in this journey on vj.

That’s what I meant when I said the thread was dead.   People came here every day asking for advice then once they got their visa they unfollowed and disappeared.  If everyone did that people like me would not have gotten the critical advices that help us get approved.

Has anyone been denied on the 2nd interview?

Don’t worry you won’t be denied.  You are pretty much guaranteed approval just get your evidence in order and neatly.   My wife was able to pickup her visa just 3 days after it was issued because she told the co that she wanted to make it here in time for our daughter’s birthday. They are much nicer.

Yay! So happy for you, so glad that it all worked out. Not even sure why they would have needed that information. What exactly does that have to do with her getting a Visa. Not his business why you don't pay taxes :-). Just weird but glad it didn't hinder you from getting your Visa! We thank God! Good Luck. May God with with you and your wife all the days of your life.

Yes it was very weird.  I’m a disabled vet from operation Iraqi freedom.  I get paid by the va for my disability and we showed him the letter and my va payment plus I wrote a detailed letter letting him know that va payments are nontaxable and where he could find it in the irs publication.  I guess he didn’t want to look for it so he had me print them.  But that was the issue.

  5. My wife's reaffirmed interview was 10/30/2017.  She was approved but the officer didnt issue the visa because he wasnt satisfied with the financial documents.  He wanted a letter from the IRS confirming that i dont have to pay taxes and to drop everything at dhl when we have them.   I didnt get the letter because i knew it would take forever so I just printed the irs publication that applied to my situation and highlighted them.  i quickly got everything together and mailed it on 10/31 and it got to ghana on 10/4.   She took it to dhl and was issued on 11/09.   We were a little worried cause it took a while for the status to change but we thank God that it is over.   Its been a long journey.

Embassies require that only certain DNA labs on their list is used in the US for collection and only certain physicians for
    specimen selection for the beneficiary.
The cost runs $600-$800 and takes about 8 weeks for completion when the results are mailed directly to the embassy.
If not requested then I would not do it but submit the BC with the NOID when or if you receive one.
Since they do not recognize test results from outside their approved labs they can not take the test result into consideration and in the long run a child
in their eyes does not prove a bona fide relationship unfortunately. They request DNA for immigration benefits mostly and not for
    bona fide relationship evidence.

@ebuno I’m trying to send you a private message but keeps telling me you can’t receive messages.

Why is he looking for reaffirm case's I don't understand, pls explain a bit further. Thanks

I think he meant to say there's a new CO or there are new COs there now so it's looking good for reaffirmed cases.

@Volta-Region when was ur reaffirmed and when did the embassy received ur case. Thanks 🙏🏾

Hello, this is the email that I use.  I typically get a reply within days , latest a week.

(ivaccra@state.gov).   I think this whole email thing requires a lot of luck.   I'm not sure why they reply me so quickly but don't reply so many other people.    But one thing I always do whenever I send them an email is include an attachment.  I always include a screenshot of something.  So maybe the attachment emails are sent to a special server that is reviewed quicker than emails with just words.    Just maybe.

I received a letter on July 20th, 2017 dated July 5th, 2017 from the Embassy instructing my husband to pick up his appointment package on ANY Wednesday to schedule an interview for the reaffirmed petition.  It seems that the Embassy mails the letter to an office in the USA and then that office mails it to the Petitioner.  The envelope was postmarked from Washington, DC zip code and the US Embassy in Ghana showed as the return address.  It seems that the letters are forwarded from Ghana to the USA and mailed from some office in Washington, D.C.

Oh cool.  I've actually read online that We don't have to wait omfor the letter.  We can print the email I received from the Embasy and take it to there to pickup the interview package.  I guess some people have done that.  Any truth to that?

@Volta-Region, there does not seem to be any reason why the Embassy's processing is so slow.  I am sure you will hear something soon.  Our reaffirmed petition was returned to the Embassy early June 2017 from what I can tell. Please continue to check your email also; some people get an email or regular mail.

My husband will be going tomorrow to pick up the appointment instructions.  I will keep you updated on what's next.....Stay encouraged and be positive, everything will work out at the right time!!

Thanks.  But what i dont understand is how people who were reaffirmed after us are getting interview date.  I don't get it.  Every time i email them they tell me that once it is unpacked and process they will contact us.
