  1. I hope everyone is doing well. I've been lurking around for quite some time and thought it's about time to start contributing. Below is the timeline of my F2A visa journey.

    12/10/2015 - I-130 sent

    12/13/2015 - Delivered (Chicago Lockbox)

    12/14/2015 - NOA1 (California)

04/01/2016 - Case not approve till now.... ????

Any way have a congratulations who was approved the case and best of luck to further NVC process

We have the same sent Date 12/10/15. But I'm Nebraska and your Cali :D I so hope My date is up next in the pile of petitions.

  2. I'm so sorry :( Can you let us know what you sent? That way we could provide some suggestions :([/quote thanks dear,we sent all the civil documents which they asked for....I feel my passport probably wasn't clear enough....for bonafide marriage, we aren't leaving together so we don't have most of those things listed, rather we sent pictures, 2 affidavit sworn by third parties though I hear its not really necessary, wedding invitation letter....

You'll didn't have any itineraries from where yall travelled to see each other?? That would help prove it is real relationship. Also, some copies of phone records that shows while talk everyday and how often you all talk?? I'm just asking a few questions.....

  3. My husband actually entered without inspection so I am working on his waiver to send before the NVC stuff. However, I have started collecting the documents. I was going to share with you this link which has helped me (http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/James's_Shortcuts) but it says it is not for k-1 or k-3 visas :(

What I had to do for the CR-1 visa was gather financial documents showing income (tax transcripts from the IRS), letters of employment, 2 passport photos, and my lawyer gave me a form to fill out for the ds-260. I'm not sure what to do for the k-3 visa, sorry!

I found this after I already posted.

    http://shusterman.com/pdf/DS-260.pdf

This will let you know what you will need to fill out the DS-260. I hope it helps!

Ok thank you, but we filed the I-130 and K-3. So the info my still be a Lil helpful to me.when I went to see my husband last month I took him all the copies from what I sent in to USCIS. Along with support documents and pics. But I guess I need to get my employment letters together so I'll have them ready. Thanks alot..

  4. Wow this Nebraska thread doesn't fill me with hope, but at least it looks like they have sped up from a year ago. We filed via the Chicago lockbox and were advised by email this morning that our application has gone to Nebraska. I checked the USCIS timelines and they say they're processing September 2015 at the moment so my fingers are crossed that they are speeding up!

I hope to join you all in celebrating each step in not too much time!

The last time I called USCIS and asked them about the Sept 2ND date. The guy told me that the Sept date means that they have finished all the petitions that had dates up to that point. But recent petitions are being approved as well. So we are literally in the any day now pool of the stack.

  5. Oh sorry now I understand. You were approved by USCIS and got your NOA2. But you didn't have to file a seperate petition for your daughter right? Did you have to file a seperate petition for her? If you didn't have to file a separate petition for her why would she need to get approved?

Once you do the interview you will both get the Visa. Does she have a seperate passport or just listed on your passport?

I am just guessing cause I have no facts about the process for children.

From my understanding of the process when we was filing. That the kids are included on the same I-130 as the applicate. That the only different thing that we filled out separate for his son was the biographical form. His son was even include on the K-3 app. This is just my understanding and I might be wrong on this tho.

  6. This forum is so quiet  compared to other forums. I read the forum of Nov filers, quite a number of filers have been approved. So seems December filers turn are just around the corner.

Are there anyone filing at Nebraska? Seems they are working on Nov filing now, you guys will expect approval by any time in Apr. Cheers !

Yes I'm a Nebraska filer and I'm trying to wait patently. I'm already 104 day so far be the days feel like there getting longer and longer lol. All hope it doesn't be to much farther down the road.

  7. This state id - A US state? I don't know how can a tourist get a valid state ID?

The border control people can do whatever they feel like, that day.

I would ask this in a thread where anybody at VJ can respond to you. Like when you click on VJs Home button, you see people asking questions like this on the left column.

I just talked to her again Looky, she said an attorney told her that he use his Birth certificate to come back into the states off the cruise. I missed wrote he "DONT" have a ID from the states.

  8. Good Morning everyone, I have a question to ask. I have a friend who's husband has over stayed his tourist visa. He and her got married in June. They are in the process of doing their paperwork. They want to go on a cruise really soon. While they are doing the process is it possible for him to go on a cruise right now or is it not a good idea for him to do that until he gets his greencard.
