Hi all, 

my AOS pending and my EAD is expiring  in 60 days, I have prepared the bundle for EAD and Parole. I am already taking lawyer services for AOS application follow up. To be honest Atorney is useless. I wanted to file my EAD myself instead of paying his fee again. Is it okay if I send the application myself ? Or I should take Lawyer services ? I m so confused my AOS is already pending for over 2 year period.  What would you suggest  and what’s the procedure to remove the lawyer name from my case ?

Hi beautiful VJs! I need guidance, my EAD and Parole will expire in 2 months while my AOS application is still pending, can you please tell me the renewal procedure and what would be the fee for that ? I was reading somewhere that I can continue work while my EAD is under renewal process for 180 days..

Can you please guide me, I am thinking to file law suit against uscis, i came USA on k-1 and it’s more than 2 years I filed AOS after getting married with my wife but still waiting for my green card, We are so stressed , Every time I try to contact through congressman I get reply that my case pending due background check. Can you please guide me filing a lawsuit can resolve my issue and how much a lawsuit can cost me? Thank you all for your suggestion!

Finally EAD approved after 1.5 year, I am wondering how long it takes to receive EAD card after approval notice ?

Hi all, need help, I have utilised all available plateforms but they are all useless , they come with the same information available online even ombudsman. Can you please tell me what can I do ? I am upset and I am in USA but doing nothing which isn't easy at all. Do you have any idea what can I do next ? Should I meet atorney ?

Right, ombudsman even didn't help, they replied USCIS didn't give any time frame .

They didn't help us at all. They just responded with the same information USCIS gives and then closed the case.

Silly question,

How do you contact the ombudsman? Is it just calling the customer service?

You should do research before commenting any post .. USCIS provides ombudsman service and you can file your issue online ..

Excellent , so I should contact him right, at least there is no harm in it .

Hi anyone knows if they are helpful ? I am waiting for my EAD from more than 6 months now .. Really upset . I contacted congressman and came to know the case is still pending because background check, it is not yet completed .. Or please guide me what next .. It's hieght of frustration I am here in USA almost 9 months but doing nothing ...

Last time I contacted them they replied your case is under review. Case worker has 60 days to make decision. So almost 2 weeks left, I should wait ? As expedite service also takes 2 weeks almost .. What do you think I should wait instead of expedite ?

I have already visited infopass office .. Just time waste .

If you can prove financial hardship and that if you lost this job offer then it'll become a burden on your family, then you may be able to expedite it.

Yes, I would try to expedite. Unless you are again in security checks, an expedite request properly documented, should speed things up.

Hi all lovely VJs !

I submitted my AOS along with EAD and Travel Document Applications. It has almost 150 days passed i have't received my EAD, i contact USCIS twice once they said office is busy and secondly they said my case is under review and case worker has 60 days to make decision. in total 150 days and under review almost 45 days. I have a job offer letter from an employer. I was thinking to contact Congressman for expedite EAD. what do you guys think it can help or it will make complicated my case? I am fully in stress plz help me and suggest me what to do ?

Hi , i am waiting for my EAD and it is more than 4.5 months .. As a man doing nothing is really very difficult , wife is working hard to support me . I am so stressful. I have contacted them thrice and they said your case is under review . I don't know what to do next . Wait is killing me. Is there anyone else facing same problem ?

I had my interview two weeks ago, but no decision was made. After checking my status online, this is what was written.

Current Status: Interview was completed and my case must be reviewed.

Can somebody tell me what this means? Thanks

Ya'll, we just got an RFE.... STUPID MISTAKE. They're requesting for the Affidavit of Support form filled out again because we missed one box... Upon reviewing our copy... Page 3 on part 4 of the form is blank... like the part where it says "information about you the sponsor... name". LOL my husband forgot to put his NAME IN. DOH!

So I guess we send our most recent 2015 W2. But since the tax return isn't due till April 15, we still send the 2014 IRS Tax Transcript??

I did the same mistake and got RFE and be careful it is an auto filled form when you delete sponsosr's name on last page it deletes the name from page 3 too . Don't delete name from additional information page ok .. Yeah you can send old IRS and stuff otherwise file and then submit. For that small mistake I am still waiting for my EAD it is already 4.5 months .

thanks for the quick response. for clarity, it means am still within the processing period because it took me 14days to get the additional evidence they requested. so if i recalculate it, the 90days processing time will be on the 12th of March. which is in a few days.

Thanks for your reply, lady was looking at screen and I made service of request twice , once they said office is busy and secondly they said your application is under review and case officer has 60 days to make decision . Why under review ? I got RFE after bio matric I had a mistake in i864 form which I sent back on December 22. Offer letter can help ?

Do you think info pass really helps ? I went NYC office lady was really nice but unfortunately they had nothing in the system the only information she providing what I already knew. I am waiting for my EAD she said there is nothing in the system you should get your green cars next month .. But I am not sure ! The only thing I can help you with Travel document if you want urgent.
