Wow, I haven't been here in so long, this feels weird...

I arrived in Arizona back on the 6th August 2015. Unfortunately my husband and I aren't able to being the AOS process yet for a plethora of reasons. Obviously I know, without a green card or EAD I'm unable to begin work due to the stipulations of my visa. Hooooowever! I'm wondering what is actually considered working. A family friend of mine, back in England has introduced me to this business she thinks world be ideal for me, as I'm not working and I have time on my hands. I guess it's somewhat like, Avon but mostly online, through social media and beauty parties at home. I wouldn't be going to an office everyday and be employed by an employer, it's more along the lines of self employment. Would it be ok for me to do this or would this be grounds for deportation. I'm really unsure about this.

Any help/advice would be more than welcome.

The CBP Officer doesn't need to be in the US. Dublin do Pre US Clearance.

we just checked from NVC about K1 FIANCE VISA. they forwarded our case to Embassy at 30 th June 2015. Now today i just filled up DS 160 form and submitted. But i am confused about DS 260. can you please confirm whether i should submit DS 160 or 260?.

You're applying for a K1 visa. You've submitted the right form. Do not submit a DS 260!

My 'packet 3' was just a letter saying they had my approved petition at the embassy and I can go ahead and book my medical.

Not sure how it works for you as you're in a different country to me.

You don't have to go back to the embassy. Either you'll receive your passport at home or you'll need to pick it up from the depot. Depending on which service you chose. I'm not sure what payment, Deckerblack is referring to. If you read the K-1 Guide it tells you exactly what you need to do. All the documents you need at the POE are your passport and the big white envelope that you'll receive with your passport. Even thoug it's quite tempting, do not open the evelope. If you do, you'll have to get it resealed by the embassy which will delay your leaving for the states.

Just read the guides and you'll be fine.

We got our tracking number today and can pick up from depot tomorrow.

My fiance case has been in AP since the 9th of June this morning I checked it said issued what does that mean please. Does that mean it's ready for pick up or is there another step to wait for or follow please?

Issued means they've printed the visa and put it in the passport. You'll receive a text and/or email when it's ready for pic up

If a female has a lot of tattoos then they may be required to do a second evalution, It may indicate they are or were a prostitute. The secondary medical is a psychological evalution. This is in Philippines

Their beneficiary is in the UK! Highly doubt it's the same. A female friend of mine who is covered neck to toe (literally) had her medical I think it was early last year in London and she wasn't questioned.

I had my medical on the 7th of June. I have three visible tatoos. They fill up virtual the insides of both my forearms (well . . . Kinda). I had a female doctor who didn't ask when I got them or anything. I think her and the nurse we just interested in them and if they we painful, who they and just general stuff like that. You know, the general questions asked by someone when they see your tattos.

Mine changed to issued today so I began wondering the same thing.

A friend of mine had hers changed to issued on a Wednesday and by the Monday she received an email saying come collect.

If you don't hear back within. . . . Let's say 5 business days, may just be down to the whole issue that has bee going on! That's what I'll think if I don't receive an email by Friday.

But like the site says, if it gets to 10 or more, contact the embassy.

Ok here's a weird one. Originally on the CEAC website my case had a creation date in early May and the last update date was 6/24. Now BOTH dates are 6/24. Anyone else see this? What the hell?

Yes I have to this too. This basically when they are about to issue your visa! Mine say 25th June 2015

It's up to you. For all the IO knows, the child's father may not have been known at birth but found out at a later date. Therefore you would have no father on birth certificate but would be able to put him on the DS-160. You can put his name on the DS-160.

As London is one of those posts, what does this actually mean for those who were interviewed already and given approvals? I'm hoping to be out of here by August 1st. Is this a realistic view or not? I know nobody can give me an exact answer but considering a problem like this happened last year, hopefully the timeline might be the same.
