  1. Hmm!!

Well I am no expert but I have a feeling they've sent it to the wrong department and not NVC, I have been reading some posts where people who got approved in Oct (CSC) was stuck as their cases got sent to NRC instead of NVC.

Good news is though atleast they have your case and hopefully they'll post it to NVC now. Call them on monday and everyday after that untill you receive your case number!! Don't wait two weeks.

    x

Mmmhmm!! Ain't no way I'm waiting two weeks. Yeah I think I'll get him to ring back on Monday and keep bugging them till we get our case number.

If only they were in our positions I'm so very sure they'd start acting like professionals and get a crack on!

    X

  2. Yay! Good news! Got a case number, invoice number, and beneficiary number today. :dancing:

    ?????!!!!

So happy for you! it's so funny, I feel like I've got mine too lol. Congratulations. I hope everything goes quickly from now!!

    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/544209-post-for-febearly-march-noa2-which-havent-been-received-by-nvc/#entry7567543

I made another post about this 'fiasco' lol. I'm tryna get enough people to read about this and try and get their situations resolved.

    ?? so happy for you!!

  3. I'm amazed USCIS even admitted it hadn't mailed your petition to NVC yet. For a group of us who went through this back in September-October, USCIS took a couple months before even admitting that.

If the Tier 2 woman at USCIS didn't put in a service request for you, I recommend your fiance call back and do that. That 2 week thing is BS.

    Good luck!

This is what I was trying to tell him. I read all the posts that you and some others had put up back then and I just got so disheartened when I started reading 90 days and so on! That's what I told him to call back and do, but he just got off a 12 hour night shift and was really angry and tired so he didn't call back at that point. Not sure if he has done since as we haven't spoken much.

Hopefully this will all get sorted soon!

  4. Ok, so I've been posting a lot about NVC lately. After 33 days of nothingness from NVC, I asked my USC fiancé to call USCIS to find out what's the crack! After being on hold for well over an hour and a half for a tier two representative, he was told that the approved petition hasn't left CSC yet and, as it was only just over the thirty days mark he should stop having a winge and just be patient! :ranting: . Even though our timeline for approval fits with virtually all the other timelines on here, the lady had the audacity to say, because he's military his petition was expedited so he shouldn't stop having a winge that it's taking long to send and be patient. OK! So 1) Nowhere in the petition did we add ANY official evidence of him being the military (just him mentioning it in the 'How we met' and the G325A). 2) we didn't add any evidence in the petition to get it expedited either! By the end of the conversation the lady put the phone down on my fiancé!!

Basically CSC are a bunch of jokes! How they'll be able to justify sending out petitions that were approved AFTER ours is beyond me!

So for anybody who's approaching the 30 days from NOA2 mark and hasn't had their petition reach NVC yet, please ring USCIS and find out where your petition is! It would be so great if nobody else has to go through this doo doo! USC fiancé(e) call USCIS and be demand to speak with somebody on tier 2. If they don't want to transfer you, just be persistent. If they still don't, just put the phone down and keep calling back till you find somebody who will! From my experience, you'll need to do this when you've got a big slot of free time as the average wait time to reach somebody on tier 2 is 80+ minutes!

I feel bad because this whole time I've been thinking it's NVC who were acting up. Little did I know!!

Now at day 35, don't think they've sent the case yet because the lady said to give it two more weeks before calling back :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: !

If anybody has had similar experiences, please post below.

  5. thank you everyone.

Funniest thing is after we get home and eat and take a nap I wake up and tell her let's go to the mall and get you a few things to celebrate. She looks at me like I killed her puppy and says " Oh no lindo, I no want shopping here save the money. We are going to Macy's in about two weeks!"

Hahaha love it!! Congratulations!! Very happy for you.

  6. The fact that you got aproved at Texas in 20 odd days is really lucky. Unless you got expedited.

Anyway, it may be that Texas hasn't sent it yet! If you're the USC, call uscis and find out where your approved petition is. Make sure you get through to somebody on tier two! Just demands to speak to sonebody on tier two.

My fiancé (usc) rang uscis and they rold him that they haven't havent even sent it from Cali yet ?.

  7. For what it's worth, once I managed to get a hold of an actual person at the NVC they said that my petition was forwarded to London a week ago, but I still haven't received a letter in the mail. So it's entirely possible that the NVC has already received and processed your case, and they just haven't gotten around to telling you yet. You can call them at (603)-334-0700 to check on your status - they can tell you if it's been forwarded and give you your case number over the phone.

That's all I had been doing since I reached the 2 week mark. Ringing NVC like a crazy woman.

UPDATE: Got my USC fiancé to ring uscis yesterday and the lady (tier 2, I told him to be persistent and not to get off the phone before they transferred him to tier 2) basically told him, it's still in Cali, hasn't been sent yet and he needs to stop having a winge and be patient!

So, yeah! CSC are full of poop!

  8. Was your friend also petitioning for a fiance? Just curious. Our NOA2 hard copy also says it's being sent to the listed consulate. It will be, but we know it makes a stop at NVC first.

Yes. I wouldn't use her as an example if she wasn't going the K1 route. Lol it wouldf be pretty silly if I used her as an example if she wasn't in the same boat as me.

Not all NOA2s have the same wording. This is what I've come to find. Like I said before, it's just confusing. I now know from reading up on here that even if it says something different, it still gets sent to NVC.

  9. That's what I mean, everyone DOES have that text on their NOA-2.

If you're referring to the text messaged received, wouldn't know, we didn't get one.

If you're referring to the Hardcopy then, no . . . That's not correct. A friend of mine, the NOA2 her fiance received in the post didn't say that. Theirs said ' The above Petition has been approved. We have sent the original Visa Petition to the Department of State National Visa Center blah blah blah'

They don't all say the same thing.

  10. Hi, Howeetest D. Did you get a notice saying that CSC sent your case to NVC? At this point, according to the statistics page at http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?cfl=0&op1=5&op2=d&op3=1&op4=9&op5=5,6,8,10,11,13,14,15,16,17,18,20,21,22,25,26,27,28,108,110,111,208,210,211&op6=California%20Service%20Center&op66=All&op7=All&dfile=No&adv=1 you and many others from the CSC have cases that have not been received by NVC yet. Hang in there. Hopefully it won't be too much longer.

Funnily enough, no I didnt. My notice stated it was sent to the 'listed consulate', so rather confused as I'm assuming ALL cases need to be sent to NVC for a case number to be assigned!

  11. So is there anybody else who has been approved by the CSC in Feb/early March and their case still hasn't reached NVC yet?

Mine is creeping up to the 35 days mark. Tried speaking to uscis but didn't realise the beneficiary was unable to hear information regarding the petition. To me that doesn't really make Scence because the petition is about the beneficiary anyway. That's irrelivant so I'll just leave that where it is.

Just strange for me when petitions approved after March 06th 2015 (my NOA2) have already reached the NVC and been give their case numbers.

  12. Well a couple months ago, it was pretty standard for petitions to take 30+ days to go from CSC to NVC. It ebbs and flows. Don't send an e-mail to the address posted on NVC's website. You'll never get a reply. Scan your NOA2 and send it to nvcresearch@state.gov. They'll take a month to reply to you if you're still waiting. No joke. I speak from experience.

Edited to add: I assume you've called NVC and they said they have no record of your petition?

Yep!! I've called numerous times! Just spoke with one of their most incompetent surporvisors!!! When I asked questions he just sat there and didn't even answer or would just say 'I wouldn't like to speculate', in the most monotone voice you have ever heard.

Needless to say the conversation ended in me letting him know how incompetent he is, that he should be demoted and me hanging up.

That's the email address the last gave me on then phone before she transferred me. Unless it's past the 35 day mark I see no point in emailing because they wouldn't get back to me in a timely manner anyway.

I'll just wait and wait and wait. Not much else I can do.

  13. My NOA2 hard copy states " We have sent the original visa petition to the department of state national visa centre (NVC)". It may be the case that they've sent it to London.

This is why I'm so confused. I can see we have the same service centre, NOA2 days apart, yet the notices aren't the same!!!

OP- CSC sometimes takes awhile to send approved petitions to the NVC. No reason to panic just yet. Once it has passed the 35 day mark, you will then have to be pro-active and take a few extra steps (e-mailing NVC a copy of your NOA2, putting in a service request with USCIS, contacting your congressperson are 3 possible steps).

I'm fast approaching the 35 day mark, and as for we not panicking, well I've not seen many cases recently that have taken so long to get to the NVC. If I don't get a case number by . . . Let's say Monday, I'm gonna email in!

  14. Ok so I've only just noticed that in the picture of my NAO2 my fiancé sent to me, it doesn't state it's been sent to the NVC

First paragraph just states 'The above petition has been approved, and forwarded to the listed consulate'. I was under the impression that ALL fiancé visa cases were sent to the NVC to get a case number, BEFORE being sent to the beneficiaries US embassy!

Has anybody else encountered this and if so, what does it mean and will my case still be sent to the NVC.

It's beeb 28 days and still no case number so I'm wondering where my case is. I've not come across this on the site before so it's caught me off guard!!

  15. If you want to pay for them---Boots, ASDA, Tesco ??

I recommend Boots or a travel clinic as per Nich-Nick's post. They are cheaper and you can usually book them all for the same day so you attend and pay once. I used Emcare Travel and they waived the consultation fee if you actually had a shot administered, which was nice.

I finally got an intelligent receptionist today who said she'll get the nurse to call me back on Tuesday. Bank holidays aren't always good lol. If she won't help then I'll just pop to boots!!

    Thanks

  16. The original of the vaccination sheet will be in the file with the other medical results, so that would cover it. However most send a photocopy of the sheet they gave you to remind them you are wanting them to clear you with that form (DS-3025).

Ok so I'm having problems even trying to get my injections done. For some reason the receptionists just don't have clue! When I rang I told the receptionist what shots I needed and WHY I needed them, she then proceeded to tell me 'You don't need any injections to go on holiday to America'. I then told her AGAIN that I'm trying to move to America and I need them for the move. Even though I know that is not true, I only need them for the AOS process, she then tells me I need to come in a get a holiday form to fill out which will tell me which injections I need :ranting: . She wouldn't even let me just book an appointment with the nurse. Is there anyway I could get them done somewhere else? I'm having real probelms with my surgery. The only other alternative is to book an appointment with my doctor and get her to help me out with the situation. I really don't want to do that as that is a waste of my doctor's time!
