They issued it for 2 years.  But the date they put was a year before the date I actually received my GC.  I was technically approved January 2016 but they issued it January 2015

Haha thanks!  I was worried whoever read my case would be confused.... but now I'm less concerned now that my I-751 has been pending what feels like FOREVER lol!

The question is how you do that? It's just 8-9 months! 

The dates on my GC put me a year ahead.  When I called and asked about it, they told me to apply for ROC based on my GC expiration date rather than the standard "two years" 

I got this notice as well and have not applied for N400

I'm still waiting.... hopefully soon lol

It seems as if those that received a "transferred" message were indeed transferred (with a letter sent to them), whereas those that have a "received" message are still at CSC and the message was merely a move from one place to another, within CSC.

Oh yes!!!!  

My Canadian passport expires this November and I've been needing to renew it but not wanting to send my passport away with an expired GC as well.  HOPING to hear a response soon!!!

Wait, there was a glitch?  ohhh!!  So if my case status online says that my form was received at my local office but didn't get a letter in the mail saying that then it's a glitch and I should still be looking at CSC times??

My application (like many of us) was transferred to a local office. 

Do you know if this processing time applies to our application?  If so, that's such a looooong time!

Mine also was transferred to a local office.  Hopefully this means an answer will happen soon!

Our letters of intent were short, simple, & to the point.  We didn't notarize them, Just a few sentences saying that we were able and willing to marry each other within the 90 days. 

I was told at my GC interview I couldn't be gone longer than 6 months at a time as well as my trips combined couldn't total more than 6 months in a year. 

However, I think you can apply for something that would give you access to have that length extended.  Your mother could always make an info pass appointment and speak with USCIS directly for more information.  

If he is sponsoring you, you are considered coming "under his household" (In USCIS' eyes)  As in USCIS needs to know that he can provide for himself, you, and your husband to qualify. 

At the very minimum it would be 2: you and the sponsor.  But it does sound like your husband would be the three of you.  

Is there any way she can get access to the safe? That will be of great importance 

If it's expired, she will either have to renew it or apply for citizenship... 

My experience with label markers is they can fall off through the mail/shuffling around.

Yes a police report will be needed.  Sounds like you will need at least two.  One from your home country and one from the country you're in now.   They will give you a checklist of all the things needed at the interview.

In my K1 interview they asked if we had met each others families and when.  But again every interview can look different depending on the country/interviewer.  

I like the idea of scheduling a Skype meeting so your fiancé has the opportunity to at least meet that way.  

Honestly whatever you put it in they will throw out and just keep the paperwork. 

I don't see it being a problem.  

When I got approved for my K1, the consulate was VERY serious in saying that AP was for emergencies only and it wasn't for frivolous travel.

After all these dialogues I was told that to write a letter with a little storyline and include a copy of tracking history information to send it over to uscis. Then just WAIT again ... 

 

i hinestly dk ####### else I can do after that point ... if you have a similar story like you alreday submitted documents to respond to rfe and waiting almost for 2 months and heard nothing yet, I suggest you guys to give it a shot  and call , it hurts a lot when you found out that you were waiting for nothing ...

I'm sorry to hear that.  Nothing worse then realizing you're waiting on nothing  In general it's always wise to make a copy of everything you send to USCIS.  I too have been asked to resubmit documents I had already sent them previously.  That way it's just a quick print and pop in the mailbox.
