Guys I made it! I’m officially a citizen! 😁
 
We showed up with our kids at the courthouse at 9:40am.  Even though the letter said 10 am but the actual ceremony didn’t happen until 11 am.  All the petitioners were lined up to surrender our green cards, be seated and had a small presentation from USCIS officer about what to do after becomes citizen.  Friends and family joined in before the judge showed up and we started to have opening remarks, music rendition, guest talk, take oath of allegiance (they have it in the booklet), pledge of allegiance, and lastly we got to introduce ourselves in front of everyone before picking up our naturalization certificate.  There were 44 people (1 was actually absent) in 19 countries got sworn in today. I got to say thank you to my family which was the most emotional and special to me.  We stayed behind to take pictures with the judge and the flag after the ceremony.   The most exciting moment for my kids was probably when they found out there were cookies and fruit punch outside waiting for them.  The whole ceremony including check-in lasted about 2 hours.  There was voting booth outside for registration but we were in a hurry for next appointment - passport. We scheduled it online as soon as we got the ceremony letter, and the post office needed the original certificate so I only got to take a picture of it before handing it off. 
 
Here I’m still can’t believe its done.  It was so much faster than I expected but it’s probably because where I’m at. Fingers crossed to all of you to have your interview dates very soon.  Good luck to everyone with this journey and I’ll come back to check up on you guys status and rooting for my Aug filers!
 
Finally if someone can help me to change my name and timeline into red font it will be greatly appreciated!  I still don’t know how to do it 🤣!

@GloAndCole and @Prawninator, it was a really great day.  It has left me with a sense of permanence and security.  I thought that I would actually read the oath out aloud albeit bit by bit with everyone else at the same time, but the judge read it out like a question and everyone had to respond "I do".  Kind of odd to me, but hey.  Also we all stood for the judge on his arrival but people left immediately once they'd got their paperwork.  No grand applause for everyone at the end, most had already left.  My wife and I stuck around so I could have a picture next to the seal and then the flag.  I helped a lady take some nice pictures in the same way as she was on her own (so sad really!!).  But everyone was smiling and even the older more stoic of those present were eminating a sense of pride.
 
At the beginning we were given several bits of paperwork, one of which was the words to the star spangled banner, the words to the oath and the pledge of allegence, the pledge happened as quick as a flash before the judge sat down.  I had my right hand in the air like I was swearing an oath and my wife kindly showed me to place in on my heart.  By the time I realised what we were doing and I'd found my bit of paper with the words on it was over.  The oath I didn't need the words to and we didn't use the words to the star spangled banner.  (it was a bit of a mess if I'm honest - but I didn't care lol)
 
Once USCIS had processed all our paperwork we waited about an hour for the judge to arrive.  My wife liked the judges speech about freedom and the reason why people are lining up to come here and not places like Syria (Yes he said that!).  He talked about the entrepreneurial spirit in Americans and a few other things, but after waiting for an hour I personally didn't really care what he had to say. 
 
There was an opportunity to register to vote afterwards which I ignored because I'm going to do that at my local BMV.  I didn't see anything about updating the Social Security records, but on the paperwork it does say that you should wait tens business days before going to update it so that USCIS can forward some paperwork to them.
 
Jeans were worn by several at Cleveland!  But they looked out of place and to a degree disrespectful especially when you were asked not to were them. 
 
As I have read a few times on here:  "My contract with USCIS is over". 🙂

Hi all, I just received my Oath taking ceremony notice. It's scheduled for December 21st, so unfortunately, it looks like I won't be able to meet you @GloAndCole!! I think since I am going to have to fly out to ANC because that is the sole service center in Alaska, they gave at least 4 weeks to schedule it. I was hoping I'd get the November 16th date, too, but I am okay with this date. An early Christmas gift, I might say. Updating my timeline!

I’m sure they are trying to get you schedule in JNU and that will save you time and money to fly back here again.  Fingers crossed you will have your date as soon as they can.  It’s getting cold here now how’s JNU?  I miss southeast Alaska  😭

@GloAndCole and @believe09, maybe if your oaths are the same day, you could meet!! 

Congratulations to all that have passed! I think according to the schedule we have so far, I'm next... only a week and a half left!

As for my interview experience- it was pretty straight forward. I came in an hour early, but had to wait about an hour and a half before I got called in. The officer first asked me to swear that I am telling the truth, etc. She then asked me about my husband and I, what are jobs are, what we do for our free time, and even if we have any plans to travel somewhere soon. She then asked me to read a sentence on the tablet in front of me, then write a sentence she dictated. We then proceeded to the Civics questions, and after answering 6 straight correctly, she congratulated me and told me I passed. Since I had to fly out for the interview I asked if there was a same-day oath ceremony, and unfortunately, there wasn't. Which means I may have to fly out again, if they don't hold one here in my town. 
 
Anyway, I was in and out in about 20 mins. The officer gave me a paper showing I passed my test. As soon as I exited the building, I received a text that they have scheduled my Oath. Hopefully, it will be soon!!! Good luck to everyone!

Just checked my ceremony will be scheduled on November 16 at 10 am!  I’m so excited!

So my interview was on 10/18 at 8:15am. I was first since the office open at 8.   I went there alone as my husband had to bring our kids to schools. The officer was professional and friendly.  My case is very straightforward: is still married to my husband for almost 10 years with kids. I just have been too busy to file for citizenship🤷🏻‍♀️! She went through the application with me to verify everything from address to answering all the yes and no questions on the form.   I was told all  I need is 6 correct answers and I got the first 6 right.   Lastly she told me to read the sentence out loud then write on the screen and that’s it.  She then said I’m going to approve your application, congratulations! She then asked if  I have any questions and we then ended up chit chat abit.  The whole interview lasted me about 20 mins. It was very easy and every staff at the office were very friendly to me.  I have very good experience with this local office. 
 
Then this morning when I checked on website for my case status (don’t we all have this morning ritual?!) said they just mailed me the oath ceremony letter !   It is so quick and I can’t believe it! I’m so excited to able to close this nearly 10 years chapter of my life. 
 
For the people are still waiting on your interview I’m sending you all my good vibes to you and wishing you all have fast and smooth journey!
 
I hope this review can help out someone someday and please don’t hesitate to ask my any questions.
 
I’ll come back again with my ceremony date once  I can see the letter online.

In case it's useful to anyone, my experience at my interview at Cleveland was that the interviewer does these interviews many times a day and that it's absolutely nothing special for them as it is for us.  No airs and graces.  No hand shake.  Just a hello, was that your wife you were sat with, then the same questions as is on the form.  Just needed my green card and driving license, didn't ask to look at divorce paperwork or anything - probably because I uploaded everything during my application online.  We were waiting about ten to fifteen minutes and my wife says that I was in the interview for about ten minutes.  If was over really fast.  As I got back to the waiting area my wife said "are you done?" I said, "yeah, lets get out of here".  Conclusion, it was a complete anti-climax for me.  Kinda glad though.  Peace and good wishes to you all, your support through your messages has been invaluable and very much appreciated.

I just logged into my USCIS account to see if they have received my Biometrics and I have an interview date of Thursday October 18th at 9:45 in the morning!  That's fast!  It's for the actual interview too !  (#######! -lol)  Darn it, now I have to learn all those pesky flashcards.

Just googled it, and yes
Code 1 – fingerprinting only (10 prints); Code 2 – biometrics (photo, signature and index finger); Code 3 – fingerprints (10 prints) and biometrics (photo, signature and index finger). Code 5 – one-hand fingerprints (4 prints on one hand), photo and signature.  
I wonder how they determine who is what code; maybe they consider me a security threat? Lol.  I was code 3 for my ROC biometrics too!

Today my account updated to say they have reviewed my biometrics

Almost makes me wanna move to Alaska just for that! 🤣

Mine shows May 2019 as well, it changed after biometrics was done and my case status has been "We reviewed your biometrics, you do not need to do anything at this time"
 
I also started to receive an email every 2 weeks saying that "We are still reviewing your case and there is no update at this time".  I hope a real update comes soon though, wonder what month they are working on right now.

I just did my biometrics yesterday, 09/06, and around 2 am Alaska time today, my status was changed to "interview scheduled." I am set to have my interview next month! Wow, I cannot believe how fast everything is going!!!
