Yeaaahhh keeping myself sane here while waiting for my husband come home from work everyday. Its a better set up now than it was before cause i get to drive him to work and pick him up everyday! I get to go to malls whenever im bored here hahaha.
And regarding with the RFE i havent received it yet so im just thankful and really hopeful not to get any. Tho I didnt include my medical with the concurrent filing. (Adjusting from B1).
I also received a letter from USCIS stating that they havent received my Medical reports and suggested not to mail it yet and wait for the interview scheduled or RFE if not applicable for interview (so i guess ill just have to bring it in my interview). Happy with this cause it only means that they're working on my case!!

Before I give my thoughts. Some background. I lived in Phills for a while. I'm 50 she's 45. Both of us slept in a holiday inn express, last night. She also has a b1 visa.
Now that's out of the way. I'm going to tread lightly.
Tampo - one of our first disagreements, with tears streaming down her face, she said "Baby I'm Asian we don't do direct" There are some huge cultural differences between Phills and here. Saving face is one of them. Learn to listen and read between the lines. Communication will come but it takes trust, time, love and patience. Even though people say it doesn't matter, coping mechanisms are different when your 20 as opposed to someone older. Be a partner not a parent.
Plans - plans work best when all parties are in agreement. Are you sure she wants to make 14 dollars a hour? Yes, I'm sure you have the best intentions, but maybe just maybe she wants a 9 dollar job and send half of it to her family back home.
Las Vegas - when I lived in NYC, she had the opportunity to meet a lot of of phillipinos. From bank executives to ex bar girls. Took a while for her to figure out who to ask for advice. Now that I'm living out "in the province" She will be in a town that is 2% Asian. It's a tough adjustment no matter where you live, be aware of how hard it really is. Put yourself in her shoes for a while.
Cooking- I can't tell you how many times I asked for second helpings of sinigang... Why don't you cook with her one night? Make a meatloaf together, she cooks what she knows. She is cooking for you, feel free to cook for her.
Did you ever think how odd it is the fascination we Americans have with pork for breakfast?
As a outsider, it seems that you both have a lot to learn about each other, and culture.
And to end with a smile. We walked out of a Chinese take out joint a few months ago. She looked at me and said "well I guess I just met the 2% Asian community in this town"

In my opinion it may not matter what you say to USCIS proving the site is not IMB. I told them my dating site cebuanas.com was not an IMB and that it was a free internet dating site and they still sent an RFE saying it appears cebuanas.com is an IMB and that I need to send further proof. I think they are sending RFE to anyone that met on-line even if you tell them it's not an IMB and that the site is free. It's very frustrating they don't inform applicants to prove the site is not IMB. They are setting up everyone to fail the first go around.
