My husband's visa was approved and issued last Wednesday and we received an e-mail notification for the tracking number for delivery of his passport and other important documents on Monday, however, the tracking number does not work and it is already Thursday..
I hope it will arrive soon but if it does not arrive today or tomorrow, I would contact the embassy.
Are there any cases when the package gets lost on the way?? If that happens, do we need to start everything from the beginning???

We have finished the interview at the embassy in Paris last week and my husband's visa was approved.
I am not sure if your case is the same but the embassy did not ask anything specific for the civil documents or financial documents as I already sent the originals to NVC.
What we did was we obtained the latest birth certificate and police certificate (as I heard that they had to be less than 3 month old, so to be safe) and when they asked us if we had any updated version, we simply replaced with new ones. As for financial documents, unless you have any changes since the time you sent to NVC, or they specifically asked you to bring something, I think it should be OK. As for us, they did not ask anything about the AOS during the interview at the embassy.
Good luck on your interview on Wednesday!
P.S. I wrote the review on the interview at the embassy in Paris.

Had an interview for IR-1 VISA today at the embassy in Paris and it was approved!!
I was worried a little bit as there were some people before us who were rejected.
The CO was a young lady and she asked only some questions like:
"When was the last time you were in the U.S.?"
"How long have you been married?"
"Have you always been living together after your marriage?"
"Why do you want to go to the U.S.?"
I prepared many photos and things to prove "domicile" but none of them were needed at the interview.
The only surprise was that a chronopost envelope that I purchased was not even needed. They changed the systems in October and I guess that is only for people who reside in Portugal.
At the end, she said "Felicitation (Congratulations)" and that was it.
Finally our long journey is about to end.

My husband went to see his primary care doctor this morning and discussed his requirements for vaccinations. (The doctor who does the medical exam for immigration visa in Paris sent us the instruction before hand.)
Well, he needed to take a blood test to see which vaccinations he would need to get. It will take about a week to get the result, and based upon the result, he would get his vaccinations if needed, and he would bring the documents to the medical exam that the embassy instructed.
So, I would recommend that you see the primary care doctor well in advance so you have enough time to get appropriate vaccinations.
    Here is our time line:
Appointment at primary care doctor to see which vaccinatins to get + blood test: 11/10/2014
    Blood Test Result: 10/1/8/2014
Appointment with primary care doctor for vaccination: 10/20/2014
    Appointment with medical exam: 10/31/2014
    Interview in Paris: 11/04/2014
This may not be the case in other countries but I just want to share just in case.

    Hi TM713,
Thanks for your update and congratulations on your interview scheduled.
I am on hold now, I hope we will get the interview scheduled, too. Our CC was Sept. 15, almost the same as yours.

I would. Especially if you've been out of the US for some time, you need to be able to show the officer the concrete steps (lease/documentation of living arrangements, job offer letter, voter's registration, etc.) that support your claim that you will be re-establishing domicile.
I did include such a letter in my AOS package since my situation is similar to yours, but I plan to bring more evidence with me to the interview.
Maybe we'll cross paths at the embassy!

    Hey Guys,
I have just talked with a lady named Jean at NVC and she told me that the inteviews are being scheduled this week and the next week.
But she does not know if we (Our CC was on Sept. 15th) will get the November interview. It dépends on the capacity of each embassy.
She told me to call back in Mid October if we don't hear anything.
So anyway, it looks like they are starting scheduling the inteviews this week and next week (two weeks, she said) so some of you ( I hope all of us who already got CCs here) wil get the interviews scheduled sometime over the next two weeks.
    FIngers crossed

    Hi Soloenta,
I am so sorry to hear that. You must be confused and devestated.. I can feel your pain. (even though we have not met in person)
Since it is under Supervisor Review, I believe that means it just a matter of time.
I think you have done everything you had to do now so just be patient. We are with you

    Hello All,
I have just got off the phone with NVC. The lady told me (didn't catch her name) that our documents are still at NVC (our CC was on Sept. 15th) and they have not scheduled the interview yet. She says that she doesn't know when the interview's going to be scheduled. The documents will be sent to the embassy after the interview is being scheduled.
I should be receiving the confirmation mail re: CC very soon.
So I thought I would like to share this info with you as some of you may have similar timeline as we do.
    Hanging there!
P.S. I am glad that I found this site. I love people helping each other and I wish all the administrators/officers were like you guys..
