We got our 1 year extension stamp in my wife's passport today at our local USCIS office.  They kept the 2 year Green Card that was going to

expire on March 12, 2019.  So we are still waiting for the I-751 approval, but at least we can renew my wife's drivers license.

Oh I got the stamp at uscis office last week too but they gave my expired green card back after checking. I wonder why its different.

    Hello Everyone,

My NOA 1 date is 01/02/2018,  never received any biometric appointment, received  one 18 month extension notice, and  couple of transfer notices,  most recent being transferred to Nebraska from CSC on Feb 5, 2019.

Now old website shows status as of today as " On March 7, 2019, we updated your date of birth for your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC180XXX"

I hope this means some good news, however new website still does not show any update, last status over there is "June 18, 2018 Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction"

Hopefully there should be some good news for the folks who got transferred to Nebraska from CSC recently.

Hi! My noa1 date is 1/2/2018 too and my case was transferred to Nebraska on 2/5.

They updated my birthday right away. And nothing so far...lol its been almost a month since they updated my birthday. I was so exicted because i thought they were touching my case. But nothing until now...

I am currently traveling over sea. Will be back until March 22, thay's why I cannot get it done on the scheduled time.

It is for i-751, never applied for N400. I do not know why they asking for the biometric a year later, maybe I missed the old biometric letter which comes after NOA1 few weeks later.

I am coming back to the US on March 22, the appt time is March 11. Hopefully they will accept my walk-in and the reason why I cannot come at scheduled time.

Ohhh so they want your biometrics for your i-751? So weird! Have you ever received a mail saying they will reuse your old fingerprints?

  4. I just checked 200 cases around me, and some are approved but most of them are still "case was transferred".

And my case is the only one saying "date of birth was updated" on 2/15.

I guess one of the officer is working on mine since 2/15?  For more than 2 weeks???? Ugh.

I really need this green card right now to apply reentry permit as soon as possible. I have to move back to my country in the middle of March and will stay there for a few years...to leave the states, I really need to apply reentry permit right now :( where is my green card!!!

    Receipt date 1/2/2018 WAC1809400xxx

    No biometrics

    18months extension letter

Case was transferred to Nebraska on 2/4/2019

Date of birth was updated on 2/15/2019

    No n400

    Hi Guys,

I got my permanent green card on my mailbox this weekend; my case had been transferred to Nebraska at the beginning of Feb if I remember well. :)

Omg! Congrats! So you got approved after your case was transferred to Nebraska in the beginning of feb!!!my case was transferred to Nebraska on Feb 4th. I'm gettimg excited because it seems like they started to work on transferred cases!!!

Is your status "card was mailed" on the website ??

Yup, that’s what I thought.. they also transferred some Feb filers to Nebraska I knew a March filer got approved her case has never been transfered.. we were the unlucky ones... I hope Nebraska center will start working on our cases, I haven’t see anyone’s case got approved after transfered to Nebraska

My case was transferred to Nebraska on feb 4th and they updated my birthday information on the system on feb 15th. So i hope they will work on our cases soon.....

I think those of us that were transferred to Nebraska are in for an even longer wait thsn vsc. It’s so disheartening. And I wanted to join the navy soon but I have to wait

True. I just checked the processing time of Nebraska service center for i-751 on their website. And found this. Super frustrating.  I also saw bunch of feb 2018 filers are getting approved. Their cases never been transferred to anywhere. So we are very unlucky. I guess CSC transferred dec 2017 & jan 2018 filers cases to somewhere else and startes to work on cases of feb 2018& march 2018 filers.

Technically you can — but any re-entry permit granted to a CPR will have the same expiration date as your conditional green card, and since that has already expired... well you can see the problem.

    Thank you for the comment!

Haha yes. My conditional green card expired a year ago. I guess i just have to wait until i get my i-751 green card.

  9. I filed my i-751 in December 2017 and am still waiting. My status recently changed to "date of birth was updated" from transferred to Nebraska.

Now I have to go to my country to stay for a year . So I have to apply reentry permit to stay out of the states for more than 6months.

Can i apply reentry permit while i-751 is pending?

    Any ideas?

Hi Everyone. can someone help me with address change question. I followed the process, but no idea how long will it take or to know if its even updated. Do we get any mail/ online account update/ email notification. Thanks

I just changed my address a few days ago. I just did it online and got an email stating they changed my address on their system or something. Haven't received any mail.

It's called "Case Tracker for USCIS".  I just re-installed it and I shouldn't do this to myself.  I saw one case was approved two days ago just a few numbers apart from mine.  It's coming.  I shouldn't try to watch it.

Thank you! I just checked 100cases around mine. And i see some approvals or name was updated, birthday was updated status. (FYI, my number is WAC18094)

So yesterday I got the notice that my “date of birth was updated” and today this is showing in both apps and USCIS website ... 12 months and 21 days approval without interview or RFE... also I did NOT send a fat envelope with lots of content but the content I send was Quality over quantity. Will take a month relaxation from this and file N-400 end of February .

Congratulations! My number is WAC18094 so i feel like im getting there too!

Our cases are pretty similar.  Same filing date, same NOA date and same California center.  The receipt number is also WAC180940...  Didn't received notice for Biometrics. We received a transfer notice dated 06/15/2018 to inform case transfer from California to California.   And so far 2 extension letters.  I am working on my N400 now.  Looking forward to file by next month.

Wow! We are very similar! I really hope we hear something soon.....I'm getting worried because lots of January filers are getting approvals. And this person who filed in February got approved too.
