  1. Hello!

I finally received EAD card last week and about to update my name on SSN card (with my married name)and get a driver's license. But I am not sure which one I should do first.

I heard updating name on SSN card will take up to 4weeks and also heard the DMV will require my SSN as well.

My EAD was approved on June 11th and received the actual card on June 19th. So it's been 11days since my card got approved. Can I go to SSN office and dmv like tomorrow? I read some thread that I should wait until SSA can verify my EAD information.

    Thank you in advance!

  2. Just received the letter in the mail saying the application is approved with notice date of 6/10! (NOA1: 3/23) My status online didn't change and remains unchanged though. I also called USCIS for service request on 12th and the lady on the phone did not know/mention anything about the approval? Anyway, best of luck for everyone! I hope everyone gets to see progress in their cases soon!

Hey! I am in the same boat! My EAD got approved on June 11th but it's still "my case was received" on the website. I am little worried about it but it should be fine.

  3. Omg!! I got approved on June 11th! I just got an email saying my case was approved.(It is still "my case was received" on the website though)

Hi henry55 I went on USCIS website and at the bottom under where u check you case status there is a option to submit a case inquiry and that's where I sent mines through.

Shellybelly13 Thank you! I got the email cuz I submitted a service request as you taught us!:)

I wasn't aware of this information!Thank you for sharing.

I just submitted service request as you mentioned even though I already called them 2weeks ago for "Approaching Regulatory Time Frame"

    Hopefully this works!

  5. No, I did not get anything via text or email. My current status still written "case was received". I talked to tier 2 USCIS representative, they let me know that I'm approved. Tier 1 agent doesn't have the latest info. So yea, don't worry much if nothing has updated online.

Did you have to explain why you want to talk to tier2? I wonder if tier1 let me talk to tier2 without any reason . I called them (tier1) twice so far but they were not helpful at all. I might need to think about info pass soon.

  6. I know how you feel guys!

My NOA date is March 16th, I had my biometrics on April 13th and still my EAD has not been approved :(

In a few more days it will be 90 days since noa!

I've never thought it can take soooo long just for EAD.

I was really worrying thinking that nobody waits so long but now I see that I am not the only one

My noa1 is March 17th! It's still "my case was received" on uscis website! No rfe. I've called them twice so far but nothing's changed even though they told me I will hear something shortly. Ugh it takes forever!

  7. Hey guys, I was shocked that when I checked the mail today there's my I-765 Application for Employment Authorization Notice sitting there waiting for me. The notice date was June 4, 2015. I am so happy and grateful! Finally!!!!

But it's kinda weird because it doesn't show on the USCIS website. It has not been updated at all. Another thing, I didn't receive any emails/ text messages at all. I am wondering how will I know if they are already sending the actual card?

Congratulations! Okay, I'd better not belive my status on uscis website then. I can't wait for the mailman to come! Hope i get a big surprise today too!
  8. I got one too. Just curious, the email that you have received, on the bottom part, does it have something that says like this?

The status of this service request is:

Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter.

    Mine was as below->

The status of this service request is:

Recently you contacted us about the status of your case. Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly.

Hmmm yours seems lil different but I think it is the same thing.

  9. Hi there, it's been 77 days now for my EAD APPLICATION that's why gave it a shot and called USCIS earlier. The representative whom I talked to created a service request for my application.

I was wondering, did you receive anything on your email after you call them?

yeah.I received an email from them. and i am lil excited since they said i will hear something shortly. Ugh but who knows!

I called yesterday for the same reason, I received an email this morning that was just a transcript of the service request to confirm it.

I called them yesterday as well! did they say you will hear something shortly? cuz i was told like that. I wanna believe them but i have doubts about it.

  10. Yes, that's what I'm really hoping for! Btw, when was your NOA1 date and when are you planning to call them?

Hi. It hits 78days from my noa1 date. :clock:

I just called USCIS to request an inquiry for my EAD (http://www.uscis.gov...ng-more-75-days). So we will see if it works or not.

They asked me bunch of questions such as my case#, phone#, address, name, e-mail address and so on.

And I was told that i should call them back if I still don't hear anything in 30days.

All we can do is just waiting i guess!

I know how you all feel.....it took 80 days for our EAD and we did not have an RFE either!!! Not sure why some go through quickly and others dont.....think it just depends on who's desk your file lands! I did make a service request on day 75....not sure if it really did anything or not???

I just called USCIS to request an inquiry ! I hope i can hear something soon too! :dancing:

  11. Same situation, Miyon83. 70 days today, no RFE either.

Missed out on 2 jobs so far, been offered another so fingers crossed it updates soon.

Yeah!hopefully we get approved next week! :D

But this is so frustrating...I have been sitting at home and wasting time for 3months. I really need my EAD card so that i can buy a car and get a driver's license!

Hello there :) Our timeline is quite similar. Based on the email and text notifications I got on March 23rd, they have received my application last March 17. I'm wondering why I haven't heard anything from them yet. :( I want to start working so I can help my husband.

Oh yeah! We sent in AOS package on the same day lol I guess we will get approved on the same day too! I have been checking on my status on USCIS's web page alot...Ugh hope we hear something from them real soon.

My AOS package was mailed on March 11, it was delivered on March 14. I did my biometrics April 14. I'm running out of patients waiting for EAD and AP...... I need to get out in the working field.

Wow :oI really hope you will get approved soon. I think i am gonna contact them next week since ppl say we should contact them if it hits 75days from noa1 date.
