If you are applying for immigrant visa, as for as I know it is the embassy that schedules it. You will receive and email from them as to when.. I am not sure if there are people here that schedules their interview themselves for immigrant. Try calling the embassy though. Goodluck.

I married a man from a small town in Wisconsin and I can totally relate to your post. I have been living and working in Dubai/Abu Dhabi for 8 years and we met while he was working there. Last March, we got married in the Philippines and have to resign from work to move to the US with him. I am currently in my home country awaiting visa approval.. But before i tender my resignation, i was also thinking a lot about what my life will be in Door county.. I guess, this is where compromise sets in..It's not about your old lifestyle anymore, it is not about you anymore..It is about the both of you and how you can make your relationship successful. 9 stages is the first thing you will see in the USCIS website to check your status, but when you enter your case number, it will change to whatever you have to go through, mine has 6 stages (used to be 5 it was without the Testing and Interview). I received my letter of notice for interview this week so the "Testing and Interview" was added.
You will get RFE if your documents are not enough. If you've done what's necessary, submitted everything, signed whatever is needed to be signed, there's no need to worry then.
