Transferring Cases From Vermont Service Center to California Service Center
In order to balance workloads, USCIS recently began transferring some cases from the Vermont Service Center to the California Service Center. The affected cases include:
How You Will Be Affected
If your Form I-130 case is being transferred, we will send you a notice listing the transfer date and the new location where your case will be processed. Your original receipt number will not change and this will not delay your case’s processing except for the additional time needed to transfer the file to the new location.
If your Form I-751 case is being transferred, we will send you a notice listing the transfer date and the new location where your case will be processed. Your original receipt number will not change and this will not delay your case’s processing except for the additional time needed to transfer the file to the new location. The words “Case Type: CRI89 Approved Removal on Conditions” will be printed on the transfer notice. This refers to your pending Form I-751. The transfer notice may not contain the original receipt number of your pending Form I-751.
The filing location and instructions for these forms will not change. Please continue to file the forms at the address noted on the form instructions and on the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov.
How to Track the Status of Your Case
You can check the status of your case by entering your receipt number in Case Status Online. You can also sign up to receive automatic case status updates by email.
If you do not receive a decision within the published processing time for the California Service Center then you may submit an inquiry using e-Request or call the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283. For TDD for the deaf and hard of hearing, call 1-800-767-1833.
When calling to ask about your case status, tell us your original receipt number and that your case was transferred to a new location.
If we send you any notice, such as a request for evidence, please read the notice carefully. Make sure you respond to the same service center that sent you the notice.
If you move while your case is pending, then you must tell us your new address as soon as possible after you move so we can notify you of any action on your case. You can change your address online or by calling the USCIS Contact Center.

Well, if they transferred our cases to our local offices, the CSC processing time is now irrelevant, as far as I understand. Each local office should have its own processing
I agree , we all should receive an update within this month

So Guys,
I just came from USCIS Tamps office today and have my passport stamped for another 1 year extension beginning today's date.
Question;? - to those who had their passport stamped for a 1 year extension, did the officer take your expired conditional green card? I asked for it and he explained that we dont need it no more and it has to be shredded. I also asked him about the message updates that we got in the website saying that cases were transferred, and He told me that on his end there were no transfers as of today and that CSC is still processing these cases. FYI .
Any comments guys???
I’d love to see what it looks like ? (Stamp)
so he took your GC. When is your letter expiring ? My letter expires at the of April , would I be able to get a stamp or is too soon ?

Sorry guys, Im bailing out now, I can't be doing with someone on this site causing negativity, too much going on in my own life. Good luck and know I will be there in the sidelines wishing good stuff for you all. x
Before you leave @shell20 I wanna thank you for all the nice comments you wrote ! We all love you very much 💙💙💙

From what I understood, there will not be any update after March 4th case transfer ? The next step is checking the mail box for the notice in the mail ?
-
I wonder what’s the explanation of the move that’s written in the notice they sent
-
Are you guys aware of the fraud level assigned to each case A , B , C ? There is a lot of steps before one gets an interview , it’s not as random as it seems , it’s actually a LOT random lol
-
Everytime i get a notification when a new post is posted ! I think there is something new but since yesterday it’s either N400 with i751 combo ... drama if failing the test..:. Or it’s some joking around which is not so bad in this atmosphere ... and today it seems like it’s a fighting ring lol
lets keep this place for what it is... i751 and post news regarding it 👏🏻

Yep ours went from Feb. 26 to march 5 received at local office. still waiting
Same for me, and from what I understood , the next step is checking the mailbox for the approval letter...
-
Question for Shell since you have been approved.
Does it show it on the website ? or you get the letter and the only update you saw was the one that says Card in production . and then we sent you your card.
Im asking because apparently the person who has 26th february then march 5th... got the approval in the mail... but no update on the website.
Im thinking.. maybe I should start checking out my mailbox......
Thank you all for sharing all the comments, it's always nice to read all your posts and we feel united. Bless y'all.

It's right under where it shows the status of your case: where is says :On February XX, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC at your local office. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
right under mailing address you will read Next Steps
-
When you check the box on the bottom right : it shows : NEXT STEPS
We will prepare your case for officer review. If we need more information, we will notify you.

I just checked mine after reading the posts on here. And it shows the following :
On February 26, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC123456789XYZ , at your local office. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
I believe they are sending all the cases pending for more than 6 months to local offices... It's finally moving !!!
