  1. You are filing for K1 fiancé visa?

if so, no need to send the entire copy of I129f package, the US embassy (manila) has it.. I had an interview earlier and I saw the entire package (I129f) that my fiancé sent to USCIS.

Just send your Affidavit of support (signed and dated), supporting documents like Form 1040 and W2 (2013 only) and certificate of employment, the letter of intent (signed and dated) and other stuff that can be use as a proof of ongoing relationship.

which affidavit of support form do I send my fiancée in manila for her interview ? the I-134 or I-864 FORM ?????

  2. I want to know how long it takes at the "Security Checks" with k1.

Please help, am tied of waiting already.

its different from case to case ..... i sent it Nov 29 2013 we just got approved Nov 10 2014.........12months to get my NOA2 to get approved .....yes i was on security checks also for that all.... i was divorce so im thinking they were checking my background......i was frustrated too , but nothing i can do but just wait .....

  3. As long as you have physically met at some point in the past two years, relationship duration shouldn't be an issue.

Can you screen shot your facetime history? showing calls made to each other and the duration? If so, do this for different dates throughout your relationship and submit them. Other evidence can include the evidence that he purchased a plane ticket to visit you, entry/exit stamps on his passport, photos of you together, copies of any letters or cards you two have sent one and other etc etc

If you have any red flags then perhaps a lawyer is required, but if it's a fairly simple case then there is more than enough guidance on VJ to help you with the process!

If you have any further questions I would recommend starting your own thread as you will get more responses.

Lastly, :guides: they are your friend!

    Good luck! :)

pheebs im looking at ur timeline ,is that correct u guys got approve NOA2 in a month ?? i waited 12 months for urs.

  4. OP, luckily you were approved. You don't need it for the interview. I sent a copy to my fiancee, which she brought to the interview, but they never asked for it. The only reason why VJ guidelines recommend making copies is because if your packet to USCIS gets lost, you have a backup ready to go. The reason they ask you to send a copy to your fiance(e) is so that (s)he can look it over to become familiar with the content.

thank you... yes we got approve after 12 months ..!!! thank god

    btw, what does OP means?

  5. NO! (I really wish VJ would remove that BS.)

You need what is listed in the embassy instructions letter. PERIOD.

BTW (in my opinion) your attorney should be giving you copies of anything and everything related to the service she is providing (maybe a hint of filing a complaint with the Bar Assoc would straighten her out). You got a wiener there!

For the K-1 visa process in Manila follow the flashing arrow below (seems I posted this to you before)

Oh ya, you would do better to post your questions for the visa process in Manila in the Philippines forum: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

hank thanks man !!! I was losing sleep over this ......

  6. You don't need a copy of the petition. The only thing you might need from that petition is any proof of relationship evidence you submitted which you should have still have. You absolutely do not need to bring a copy of the I-129F petition to the interview.

To answer your question, you cannot get a copy from USCIS. 600 dollars for a copy? Not even worth it in my opinion.

Thanks Zedayn... yes 600 is lot of money, the lawyer tryin take advantage of me... me n my fiancé have all the documents we need, its that I-129f package copy we don't have n losing sleep over it with worries.....thanks again Zedayn for the piece of mind bro !!!!

  7. IF.,.,.you read the K-1 visa ""to do"" list, it plainly tells you to "keep two entire copies of the 129F packet".,.,.does it not?

raven52 yes I read it , my lawyer is screwing me by charging me 600 dollars for copy... I should of ask her when I first sign n sent out the petition in the beginning ...that was my mistake I didn't coz my first time using a lawyer... so tell me were can I get a copy ??? USCIS ???
