  1. Yea the tier 2 agent told me I should have an answer before the year is over he said all the background checks were completed the only thing left is for an agent to get my file and look at it.

I just spoke with USCIS and apparently Tier 1 now has access to more information than before. He could see my status (I still don't have access on WS) but not on the usual screen they refer to. He said they've given them a new way to check current status'. He however said that often our cases can be with an adjudicator without updating this on the system until the decision is made. I am most curious to know if someone can give us an update to the current processing date that hasn't been updated on their website in months.

  2. I hace the same error when I check my case on the Uscis website, when I call them they can't give me any information either so at this point I have not had any information on my case in the past 3 weeks I spoke to tier 2 agent and they issued a service request two weeks ago and I spoke to them last week and they said they still can't see any info on my case I'm hoping this comes to an end soon and we all start getting some good news

  3. We are in that 4 to 5 month range...but I am thinking that NOA2 will come in December, and hoping that fiancé comes to my home in Florida in February. Some get approved faster than others we do not have any control of that..so hang in there. I know we are getting closer...jajaja.

I'm going threw the same situation I am also from florida I sent my petition July 23rd so far it's been soooo frustrating at first I made plans for my fiancée to be with me for the holidays, now I'm the one going there to visit her, we just all have to pray that by December or January we have an answer It's hard to have hope but we can only think positively, the worst part is that USCIS has no idea what's going on with anyone's petition those agents have no info at all

  4. what is that service request?

    I've never heard about it

its a request they put in their system to have somebody look at your case, I got pretty upset and told them that is not our fault they're doing such a poor job on their site, that I needed somebody to look at my case and give me an answer, so they put in t he service request gave me a confirmation # and now I just hope that this is a good sign and somebody may actually look at my case, I seen that they're doing this for people calling in complaining about the site so it might be good.

  5. Me again - just spoke with another USCIS officer. The cases at this point are getting updated on the website by your caseworker/adjudicator. I was told to call back, if my status on web and phone is not consistent, by the end of the week and they will file a service request. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise.

I'm having the same problem I called today and they were able to file a service request I hope this is good news.

  6. It is very frustrating, I called yesterday and asked why I couldn't see my case status online, they said oh don't worry let me look up your case, after 5 minutes on hold the agent said oh we're sorry we can't see it either our system is down I don't know why we're having this problem, but don't worry I'll transfer you over to a tier 2 agent, so after like an hour the tier two agent calls me and tells me yea we see your case it's still under review we're currently processing cases from April 5, so basically he was reading the same thing that's on the website, but this is where it gets good lol I tell him so can you explain to me why is it that TSC is so backed up and why is CSC approving cases in 15-30 days, he says well I don't have an answer for that unfortunately our system doesn't give us that information, so I asked very nicely still, so you mr agent just pretty much only have the info that's available on the website for everyone, he says yea basically, and than he tells me you might have to wait about three more months maybe you should just relax and be more patient ?? I felt like punching him threw the phone, how dare he tell me or any of us that we need to be more patient.... But we have to have faith that's the only thing that will get us threw this mess called USCIS

  7. You're so right. I hope you are feeling a little better now. To top things off, not everyone has to wait 5,6,7 months. Some people who filed in September or even this month, have been approved in time to enter the US and be with their fiance(e) before the Holidays. Others, who filed much earlier in the year, have no hope of any such thing. Why? Because you/the fiance live in a state that is sentenced to the losing side of this processing lottery. In what universe should it be a privilege to be able to be with your own fiance or spouse during a family time. I had held onto hope that there was still a slim chance we could still be approved in time to be able to be together in the US (permanently) for the Holidays. I figured if we got our NOA2 by the end of October, there was still a slim glimmer of hope that this would be a reality. Now, as the month draws to a close, we have to face the reality: it's just delusional. Next time someone describes any process as awful and uses the term "this is hell", it's safe to assume that if they have not had to deal with TSC, they have NO idea.

I have to agree with you on this the process is horrible and the people handling these petitions are the worst and must have no idea what they're doing, my fiancée has all theses questions for me and I feel so incompetent not being able to give her a direct answer on when we are finally are going to be together, our plans were to also be together for the holidays here in the states but as we all know that is not going to happen October is gone and is still looks like there is no progress, thank God I am going to be able to flight to Colombia and spend the holidays with my fiancée I cant wait to see her, we just have to keep praying and hope that we see at least some July petitions getting approved and than is just a small wait for all of us.

  8. I'm not sure if this would help but I found these emails online and they're for Donal Neufeld - Associate Director, Service Center Operations Donald.W.Neufeld@uscis.dhs.gov

Lori Scialabba- Deputy Director, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services lori.gill@dhs.gov

and Alejandro Mayorkas I believe Is the ex Director of USCIS- alejandro.mayorkas@dhs.gov

If we can all send them email and see if that helps with all this backlog I don't know just an Idea.
