I got my interview date it’s next week. I’m June 2020 too 

Nothing yet. We are still impatiently waiting. 

Hey everyone going through the embassy in the Dominican Republic, I was wondering if anyone has any update of what dates they are processing for IR1, IR2.
My wife and daughter was DQ'd on June 9th 2020 and I still haven't received any info about our case and I even asked my local representatives for help with no luck. I would just like to know the people who have recently had interviews tell me when they were DQ'd and did not have their cases expedited so I can get a general sense how things are moving. I appreciate any help thanks.

I’ve been waiting for the interview dates at the consulate in DR with no luck. Looking for any comments on this and approx dates. How are yours looking. It’s for my daughters visa.

I'm still waiting too. My stepsons were approved in July and nothing yet.  I heard from a few people that the consulate is working but slowly.  My husband knows two people in DR that got interviews last week. So they are working.  
 
We heard that they are working with US Citizen petitioners.  Not sure if this entirely true, as I'm a US citizen and I have not heard anything yet. 

A visitor visa to the US requires nothing from the US. Attorneys/agents usually tend to ask for useless, boilerplate documents to "support" a b2 application. 
 
B2 application asks to list relatives in the US, and thier visa status. List them as green card holders, embassy usually doesn't delve into whether its a 2-yr or 10-yr green card.

Fiance's visa issued today! Now waiting the email that tells us it's ready to be picked up!!!

My step-son's is issued, my fiancé's still says "ready", but he's next!! Hopefully, he will be here by next Friday!!!! Woo hoo!!

You made a big sacrifice and He gave you the strength and the knowledge to continue even though it hasn't been easy. And you could have done nothing to help others along the way, but you chose to continue to help, even through your own struggles and pain. God will honor and bless you and all of us who continue to support and encourage one another. I truly believe this and am thankful. Hang in there Avery's mom. It will all be victorious very soon.

Im officially part of this group. I was approved this evening and my fiancé is charging his phone as we speak and i cant even tell him yet!!!!!! Lol

Try googling the city that your fiance lives in NJ to find out what district you are in to determine which congressman to write to.
