I definitely agree with you, as I also have become consumed... but the difference is I cant step away even if I wanted to.. I cant help it, I'm addicted and a control freak and after reading on VJ the amount of errors, disregard and misinformation on behalf of these departments, it makes me extremely nervous. So I baby sit them. And after so much invested (time, money, emotion), I refuse to accept any neglect, especially when we are so close. I will continue to pray, as I have great faith and I will keep all of you in my prayers

Thanks and I shall do the same for u. And I agree...we're trying to do this the right and have put so much time into this and they have no cares about it. Also to think our love lifes are in their hands. To have the say as to whether or not it is true and real. But again God will put us in the path of the right one so there is no problem. ?

Jtoro70.....you are so right. I have allowed this to consume me and had to step away. God does answer prayers. I just prayed my fiancè was here by holidays and it looks like that will happen. Things work in God's time not our. Keep us posted with interview date.

Im glad for you, just keep calling if you are able to. My package is already shipped to DR on 10/8. The turn around at NVC was 2 days.. I'm happy about that. I was told that it should arrive in 5 - 10 business days. I will start calling the consulate next week. Hopefully we'll get a late November or early December interview, before plane tickets sky rocket!!?

Did u select immigrant or non immigrant visa? If they gave you a case number it should come up. Select immigrant visa.

Hi Guys, after 3 weeks of approval my case has finally arrived at NVC. My noah 2 is 9/16 and NVc received on 10/9. However, (with my freak self) I tried entering my case # on the visa status page and it wont pull it up. Do you guys think its not there because it just got there and should I wait tomorrow? Thanks for your help.

Just checked stauts online and our petition is in transit to KNG!!!! Actually on hold now to see when it went out and what his interview date is. Good Luck and hope for a quick turn around for everyone???

So I was just told the exact same thing.... I think its just a standard comment, based on VJ timelines, I believe it should leave NVC in a few days tops... Keep your fingers crossed! Good Luck!

I called tonight and the lady told me my case is going thru additional processing and for this type of processing there is no time frame and once completed it will be forwarded to embassy.......so more waiting?.

They must be moving slow. They received my petition and I got my case number on Sept 15th and mine as of last week was still there. I checked status online today and still says AT NVC. Its been 3 weeks today. Hopefully things will get moving soon for all of us.

Oh no! That sucks. Did they say what is holding it up? I have seen files being shipped off to the respective embassies in 2-4 days on average. I can't imagine what administrative processing they might be doing on yours.

Yeah I know. 2 to 4 days has been the average that I have seen. The guy claims it's a normal process and if there was a problem or something I had to do he would tell me. He just suggested I keep calling back to see if has been sent.

I got approved NOA2 on Sept 3rd. NVC received it on Sept 15th and I got my case # same day but when I called today its still in administrative processing and hasn't been shipped to Embassy. Alittle frustrated. Thought everything was moving quickly.

My NOA 2 is dated 9-3-14 and they(NVC) got ours on 9-15-14. Im in central time zone(TX) and I called them at 5:55am my time. Got thru but on hold for about 30 minutes but its better than that dang busy signal.? You may wanna try that because it seems no matter what time of day u call its busy, busy, busy. Hope that helps

What is the number you can call for automated seevice at NVC? I called the number on the letter and it stated the office isn't open and to call back Monday-Friday from 7 to midnight with no option for automated.

Still no hard copy either. Received processing notification on 8/19.

Need help. I'm trying to change my beneficiary's address on USCIS website but it only gives the option as if he is in the US. Both the old and new address fields ask for state. How do I bypass or is it best to call. Trying to do this asap with all the approvals going on. ?

I still haven't received my hard copy. I'm getting worried. Not because it's needed, but now I'm worried about getting our NOA2 when the time comes. My status hasn't changed from being transferred to my "local office", either. Why haven't Texas people gotten their hard copy? That's just weird. I know that one guy got his like 4 days after the transfer. But there's quite a few of us in Texas who haven't gotten theirs. This whole process is just so unstructured and unorganized.
