Verenaaa reacted to Germanese in K1 Medical Frankfurt: Update on Info
Verenaaa did you complete the medical already?
If so, did you wait until you were instructed to do so?
Our petition is currently still at the NVC but I want to make sure I get everything done asap so that we don't have to waste our time doing things that could have been done in advance...

Verenaaa got a reaction from seramun in Can an American living abroad file for a K-1?
Hi there,
filing while you are still in the Netherlands is not a problem at all. My US fiance did the same thing - we filed while he was still living in Germany with me. Actually, it was more convinient this way as we could prepare all the paperwork together. You just send it from the Netherlands to Texas, listing your parents address as your permanent address so they can send the NOA1 (confirmation about receiving your application) to them.
The only thing that could be a little difficult is to get a money order7check from a US banking institute (for the application fee). This you will need to figure out. If you cant get one anywhere, send the whole application to your parents (or someone else you trust) and they can add the money order and send it to Texas.
One more thing: My fiance stated in his letter of intent that he currently lives with me in Germany but plans to return to the US in XX to establish our US domicile.
Hope that helped
Good luck!

Verenaaa got a reaction from JulMar in Full-time Student & G-325A Form
Hi JulMar... I put down my college/University as the employer and full-time student as my occupation. It is basically a job to be a student and then it also becomea clear to the Person looking at your application that you are a student.

Verenaaa got a reaction from Sheepwalk in Cover letter itemized listing question
Also: I copied for example the boarding passes on a preprinted paper where I stated at the bottom ex:
Date: xx,xx,xxxx
Subject: boarding pass New York - London for person xy
Occasion: me traveling to visit xy over summer
This way I did not need an extra sheet of paper to explain it but had all of it on one sheet.
As you can tell I am very detailed oriented - maybe a too much, but it's for my own sake and I feel better "over-doin" it than feeling like I missed something!!

Verenaaa reacted to steve n songsang in G-325 A: Residence and Employment
also, sorry to tell you this but you list Massachusetts as your fiancé`s state of residence, unfortunately this will have your petition processed at the Texas service center and they have been super slow.

Will the US citizen have enough income to provide the affidavit of support? You might also want to look at the I-134 (and even I-864) to see what income level
you will need to during the k1 visa (post I-129F) and even post K1 visa processing.
