  1. I wish I could help you but I cant, i know nothing. Only thing I can say is I know the feeling of worries doing immigration with the age difference. I am 41 and my husband is 26. We have been married will be a year this month. Most amazing year of my life! Its to bad we have to be judged and worried for this, for love is blind, it has no color, number, gender in my opinion. God bless and good luck.

  2. Thank you so much for coming back it's so appreicated more than you will ever know and I'm thrilled for you just wish you and Not a Tailor would have received an interview date for March. Praying the rest of your journey is a sweet and smooth one. :) Love you to sweetness, God bless you.

I think many of us come in here just to draw strength from you! I come to read and get updated on how everyone in here's Ap is going, if there is any news on them, see other complaints similar to mine. Most importantly reading your posts gives me a LOT of strength. I can have a bad day, read your positive posts and say to myself,"I got this." Your positive posts and vibes keep many of us strong and I thank you for that and add you to my prayers daily among the others waiting and struggling through this process.

  3. All,

Can you please give me the NVC address to which you sent the documents? I just want to make sure I send them to the correct address in future. So far I got three address to send the documents, but not sure which one is correct.

    National Visa Center

    ATTN: WC

    31 Rochester Avenue, Suite 200

    Portsmouth, NH 03801-2915

    National Visa Center,
    32 Rochester Avenue,
    Portsmouth, NH 03801-2909
    National Visa Center
    Attn: DR
    31 Rochester Ave. Suite 100
    Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914
Which one is the correct one? Those who got case complete please help me to get out of this confusion. :(

I used third one as well.

  4. It will be all different depending on the embassy the interview is at. Some it is 5-7 days after case complete email, some it can takes months. As far as how to prepare her.. Click on top embassy info, go to her embassy and they have good info there. Or click here http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/lol

This page also has wonderful info http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

I, too got a Case Complete on March 26th waiting for interview date as well.

  5. It's really unlikely. They seem to either book the 27-30 of Month A or the 1-5 of Month B, then again between the 11th and 17th of Month B. They did the 27th of March, so the next booking should be LIKELY around the 13th through 15th of April.

NVC told me that they dont schedule that way anymore. They told they they have people that do it all the time now. So they must be lieing lol

Confused about interview scheduling. Reading in here NVC schedules only a couple weeks out of the month correct? NVC representative I just called said they have people that do that scheduling everyday throughout the month now. There is no break of days from it.

    ^^

  6. I got a CC on March 26, received CC email on 4/2 with no interview date on it. I was told by THREE NVC operators that Netherlands/Amsterdam Embassy is one of the quiet ones, so their not sure what the hold up is (perhaps so quiet they don't check their emails as often one said. One said they may even throw you for a loop, schedule it and it be 5 days later as is done by that embassy often). Why don't they know what their embassy's do and how they go about the process? Am I asking the wrong thing? Should I be wording it different when asking about interview being scheduled yet and when it will be done?

I have tried contacting the embassy in Amsterdam (with the numbers from the Embassy Info here on this site) but have not had luck. Says only way to get a hold of them is email. We have three emails sent there in past two weeks and they do NOT respond (Just maybe tell them a heads up we are waiting, not patiently either >.< ).

Is there any other way to inform them that we are waiting on an interview or should I just leave it be? My issue that scares me is that my husband will be traveling here on the 23rd of April to visit me and at the cost I would really hate to all the sudden find out interview date is when he's here, which ofc would mean rushing back right away to do medical and interview (and praying it was all done in time).

And looking at previous entrys on DWheels data from my husbands Embassy in Amsterdam:

VJ Member Name Case Complete Date Interview Date Scheduled Interview Date AmeriDutch 1/14/2015 1/31/2015 2/5/2015

17 days from CC to date Interview was scheduled to 5 days til the date if the interview. That's NO time from date you know the interview is scheduled to the actual interview date.

    AngelaMatthew 1/6/2015 1/13/2015 1/26/2015

7 days from CC to date Interview was scheduled to 13 days til the date if the interview.

Any ideas or ways to get a hold of them (aside from phones that don't work and emails that they don't respond to)?

Risk it and have husband come?

Cancel until after interview (then knowing my luck interview wont be til June/July lol)?

Ugh so confused on what to do. So very few people immigrate from the Netherlands its hard to find any data that would give me a better idea on which way to proceed. I "feel" like he could safely come on his visit without problems of interview coming up too fast but what do i know, all my luck he'll get denied at border and it'll mess up our process even though hes been here 4 times.

    Thanks for any advise guys/gals.

  7. Confused about interview scheduling. Reading in here NVC schedules only a couple weeks out of the month correct? NVC representative I just called said they have people that do that scheduling everyday throughout the month now. There is no break of days from it. He still said he would have NO idea when Amsterdam schedules there. Confirmed that so few people Immigrate from Netherlands hes surprised its taking them even this long to schedule ours. Also said they may throw you for a loop and schedule you for an interview that's a week away? Any opinions?

  8. Guys, what is your experience with CEAC after the case is complete at NVC?

    Here is mine so far:

31.03.15 NVC: acknowledged the approved expedite request (per e-mail to congressman office) and forwarded the case to the U.S. Consulate in Frankfurt, Germany (DHL)

01.04.15 NVC: no status change in CEAC yet. Still "At NVC".

CC March 26th - No Interview/CC email yet - Status "Still at NVC"
