Hi Jenny2014wu - how long did it take for them to cash your check since you mailed your packet?

I mailed on June 20, delivered on 23, check cashed on 26, got noa letter on 30

I got the same notes in noa letter, I got the finger print letter shortly

I came in at 9:30 this morning, and there were 3-4 people waiting. The officer at the desk asked for the letter and GC and did not say anything about me coming early. They were very nice. I was done by 10:00AM.

This is the 2nd time I did walk-in Bio. The first one was for I-751 and it went smooth too.

Ngo3361,when you walk in, if they tell them you come early or just keep quiet to do it? Is there lots of people there? I am in Charlotte office too

anyone has any idea what could happen when UCIS receives money order with no purchaser signature on it?

I forgot to sign it and just remembered now and it's on its way to its destination.

Do you think UCIS could reject the N400 application because of this?

I mailed a check, I forget to put a# in it, they didn't cash the check, they pull the money from my bank account directly. the check has the bank account. I think they will write your a# in your money order when they open the file.wait, when you get NOA letter, they will tell you if you owe anything

I think you will be fine. My girlfriend divorce her husband during applying 10 years green card. She still got the 10 years gc because the immigration office never know it. Last year she apply for citizen, she pass it, the never ask about the divorce things. It depends on the officer

I go to irs website to make payment for 2010 for 22.85 dollars, but when you go into the payment page, key in the ssn, address, they showing the payment is 0.00.

they didn't pickup that 22.85. anyway I just pay it. but if I don't check it I never know that.irs never send a mail to say we own 22.85.

I have print out the tax return transcripts for 3 years. but when I check the account transcript. each year balance is 0 except 2010.

there is a balance:22.85. I pay tax always, never owe anything. never get mail to say I owe something.

not sure what that balance is. it is my credit due to overpayment or It is what I OWE?

Wow, do you tell you owe tax in application form?if you did, then it is ok. If you dint tell them on form. How they know you owe tax? It means they have check irs

When they cash your check , they should mail you the noa letter.they cashed my check on Jun 26, the mail is out on the sesame day, I got it on jun 30

Yeah you can do that .I have done that last week .try to go around 12:00PM it would be pretty empty .I went around 12 PM and there was just one guy and my self .i was in and out in about 10 min .good luck

If you are questioning it, then my opinion is that you should just wait for the day of your appointment.

I was looking at the April filers thread and there is someone there, also from Charlotte, who completed the whole N-400 process in 3 months. Of course I don't know how his/her case compares to yours, but it seems like the Charlotte Field Office processes N-400 applications pretty quickly. Maybe you should take a look at the previous months filers threads to have a better idea, if you would like to know more.

Yes, I have read it, charlotte office process the N400 within 3 month. it is pretty quick. it is lucky I am in charlotte.

it is a small city. not alot of people here. They process my ROC green card in Atanta GA for 12 month due to huge people there.

I search the website, but I am not sure if they are the right one in the current year. they do changes from year to year.

I am using computer for 20 years, I even doubt if I can write things by my hand.

lots of words we can talking but we don't remember how to write it exactly due to computer will give you auto correction fuction.

so I am nervours for the interview.

What is the Notice Date on the letter?

I have the Same situation, I am afraid they will deny me due to I am working in another state. So I wait for 5 years of gc to file the citizen in my work state. We are still married.but we only see each other once a month now.

Well you're not going to hear about an interview yet - you're ahead of yourself. If they mailed it on the 24th that may mean they put it in the office mail that day, that doesn't even mean it made it out of the building until the next day for all we know, its only the 30th and there has been a weekend inbetween. I wouldn't worry just yet. The next thing you're expecting after that is your Biometrics appt letter - interview is way down the line.

Whether the check came out as a cashed check or a direct debit - it doesn't matter - they took the money and that's good! The address on the check doesn't matter - its what's on your application that counts.

yes, you are right, they haven't scheduled the biometrics appt yet. wish they have put in the system which my bill is paid.
