That's probably a genuine mistake on USCIS part to ask you for selective service registration unless you indicated on your application ? Do you have a copy of your N-400 app to see what you answered for that question ?

i have a copy in hand, I just checked it, I didn't select to selective server.

also they said the interview process is 2 hours. if your letter said the same thing? that is so scared!

read through the interview letter, make me sweat. it said the processing time of interview is 2 hours. is anyone got the same words??

It seems to me that Charlotte office has the Judicial Ceremony once a month, on the last Thursday, which will be October 30th.

Uscis charlotte website said there are once or twice adm oath each week, they even have same day oath. So what time is your interview on oct 9. If it is early, you might have same dat oath.smile

Didn't check my case on Saturday and Sunday because it was weekend and to my surprise it was updated on Saturday yeahhhh!!!.....On August 23, 2014, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was scheduled for interview. No, its not, its for August 25, 2014. The Contract Supervisor called me and ask me when do i want to come for interview. It's either Aug. 25 or Sept. 22. I chose Aug. 15 as it is still weeks away for Sept. 22. And I want to go home asap.

Husband will be leaving for deployment in 2 days. The interview letter was coursed through email but she had to hide the case number and alien no. for sec reasons. I already printed it out and ready to go. My 13 month old will be with me so goodluck with that. lol

That's so interesting that all the June Tampa filers have their interview on the same day! I noticed it here in Chicago too, that all the April and May filers have their interview on the same day too (late August and late September, respectively). I've been wondering if they only do Citizenship interviews once a month.

If that's the trend, then I won't receive any information until mid September, for an interview late October.

there is 500 average completion for N400 in charlotte.

so they cannot do in batch once a month. how come 500 peopole got interview in One day!

they just coincident they don't have too many people in June for Temple FL office.

If you don't mind a possible delay in your timeline, you can always request a reschedule of your interview if it is scheduled during your trip.This is what I did, so far it has delayed my timeline by about two weeks, but I don't have a new interview date yet. So who knows how long it will take. I am actually okay with a little delay. I have a cruise planned in mid November and I would like if my Oath is schedule after than rather than before. Getting a rush passport with only a couple weeks to spare before the trip is some more stress I don't need.

I wouldn't cancel airline reservations, just request a reschedule if they happen to have your interview date during your trip.

Reschedule flight cost almost a new ticket for domestic flight. I did that once

I got the yellow letter today. Dated 8/8. They said ：prior to schedule your interview, we have reviewed your file. You need to bring state issued dl or Id and all the passport travel doc. They didn't ask tax transcripts. I will bring it I have printed from IRS website.please update my record

I just check May filers. Charlotte office just sent interview letter for May filer.their interview date is 9/16. So we might get interview in October .4month wait.

It said to bring Driver's license and all passports and travel documents (include expired and current). There is also a note to bring this letter with the documents.

Based on your in-line, I am guessing that you will receive the letter around 08/24. Just my own observation!

Do you get your status Change to scheduled interview or got the interview letter?

It seems like they are kinda slow now .I was checking April or May filers i don't really remember and i notice that 2 days after that person was inline for interview they updated his case with interview schedule.He had his interview almost a month after being inline for interview .He had his oath 2 days later after the interview ! I have been inline for over than a month now and still nothing ! Good luck guys i hope that we will hear something soon from the slow Charlotte office lol

Yes,I saw others in previous month get interview fast in Charlotte. Now they lower the speed. Maybe io are on vacation or more cases coming out. I am still wait you to move status so that mine can move too.

We don't get interview scheduled yet. I am waiting everyone s good news. But no one has scheduled interview except Dixie.

the processing method is depending on the type of the application. but, imagine trying to automate the process that was started more than 100 years ago, it's not aneasy task.
