I pay by debit card, they don't accept credit card, apply in local office, I thing local office is slow than passport agent, it take days to get into passport office

I apply passport on nov 05 in Charlotte nc usps .expedited . Tracking status come out nov 10

I apply passport on nov 5 in post office, expedition,I still could not track it in the system today.

Do you think it takes longer to apply in post office than in passport agent?

They said 3 weeks for expedited ,regular is 4 weeks, why they charge 60 Extra just for one week difference?

You should bring those doc in interview, then they should already approve you. It us not a hard io at all.

I apply for 5 y rule, I do see they have all my gc application old file in io s table, before I enter the interview, they already read old files, when I start the interview, they already know about my marriage thins. But the io is very nice,she just ask a little bit marriage things.

My girl friend divorce USC after roc,she got citizen without problem,the officer even never bring the marriage out.

Some officer is nice, some are difficult, but they don't have a reason to deny you.

When you have interview, do you explain everything about the previous marriage. You need to persuade io to trust you ,that is important, it is not just answer what io ask.

They might have driving ticket or something on the final form, so they need to go back for more things,

Sorry to hear that , my gf divorced after got 10 y gc. He apply for 5 y rule. They didn't ask her anything about marriage , she got citizen at the same day.

She is in ny office. You must meet a difficult officer. Good thing is they didn't find a reason to deny you. So just wait. 5 y rule is nothing to do with marriage. I apply for 5 y rule ,marry with USC hubb. The do have my roc file on flicker s table. The did dig into the paper, I keep talking to the officer about my work. Then she stop digging, said I approve you.the officer is smile all the time. You must meet a difficult one. If they deny you, then go the court then.

oath is done, I am us citizen now. There are 91 people from 43 countries. I am moved by Obama speech. He said you are free now , you are us citizen now . The officer said now we are all us citizen. We are the same now. You are not foreigner any more. I will apply for passport when I get time. I wake up early this morning to do the work, when I come back from oath, 3 coworkers online waiting for me to work things. You just don't have time to enjoy the happyness. Work work work, it is the life, if you don't have a work, you will lose everything.

For me I apply for 5 y rule I am still married my USC hubb. When I have interviewed, they even have my all gc application file on io table.they even know my nickname. I ask io how she know it, she said they know. They didn't ask gc things, the just asked 6 civic question, read,write, approve it. But I know they have read my gc application file before interview me. They ask me if I marry in another city. They do check my date to move current city and dl address. It is a little bit nervous although I apply for 5 r rule.

I mean the officer already has all your documents you submit for green card. It is on her table when she interview me, she did dig some paper from her file to check it, she even know my nickname, she ask why I didnt put it on application. I was so suprised, how come he know my name I ise at work which is not my official name. I ask officer how she know it, she said we know it.i prepared all the documents like roc doc. Because they had a attached paper said officer may ask more docs during interview, if you don't have it, you can give to them later, this will result in delaying your process. But they didn't ask me to show ten anything just gc do passport on the table, she do check the dl address. When you prepare everything, they just don't ask it. When you are not, they ask it. It is not hard to do it, I keep all the doc in file back to 5 ys. I use the same flile when I apply for roc . I told the officer, I prepare everything good, but I cannot sleep last night for not reason. My husband said he doesn't mind if I bring a suitcase.

They have attached a paper saying if you apply for marriage rule, you need to bring those things. I apply 5 year rule, my all past marriage document are in officer table from previous application for green card. I do bring everything just in case they ask. If you don't bring them, your case will be delayed.

Pass the interview, the visa officer is nice, talk about her family , I talk about my family . Briefly go through the y/n questions. Confirm the form.

I apply for 5years rule. But I am so surprised she has all my green card application documents back to 5 years and 3 year roc documents in file on the table. She do ask how I know my husband. She ask the gc,passport , dl on the table.

Hi everyone!

I passed the test! It was overall a very pleasant experience. I arrived about 30 minutes before my interview time and was called about 10 minutes after that. The IO was very friendly and the whole thing lasted approximately 20 minutes. In the end he congratulated me and said that I had passed and that I should receive notification for the oath in a few weeks. I had a huge file folder with papers and the only thing he asked was for my children's birth certificates and to make a copy of my passport.

My questions were:

1: Who wrote the Constitution?

2: What is the president's political party?

3: Name a state that borders Mexico.

4: Who is the commander in chief of the military?

5: Name 3 of the original colonies

6: What are the current political parties.

I had to say: Who elects the Congress? and write: We elect the Congress.

I also mentioned my traffic tickets and he said he didn't need to see them. Also that I had been "detained" at the airport one time while waiting for my CR-1, and he looked into that but didn't seem to be concerned.

There is not 100 question

It took about 10 min .i dont remember all the questions but all what i remember is i dont think that he asked me 6 questions i guess maybe just 4.He asked me the questions very fast .He did not even give me a chance to say the whole answer .Just whenever i started to answer the question he goes to next question. what i remember now is 1- what is the supreme Law of the land ? 2- who is the vice president ? 3- why did the colonies fight the British ? 4- who makes federal laws ?

He asked me to read ( who can vote ? ) and he asked me to write ( Citizens can vote ) . Then he went through the no and yes questions from the N-400 .
