You do not need to bring your husband's U.S. Passport, if you obtained your residency based on your marriage to your U.S. citizen husband then we already have all the information we need about your husband in your alien file. There is no need to bring that information again, same thing with your marriage certificate, we already know you are married if you obtained your residency on that marriage.  When we interview you for your naturalization we have your entire alien file in front of us for the majority of the N-400 cases.  If you feel more comfortable go ahead and bring a copy of his passport page but there is absolutely no reason at all to bring his actual passport.  I hope this information is helpful.  I interviewed N-400 applications for 10 years.  Also I have no idea how long the wait is for the Oath ceremony in our Ft. Myers office, it is a brand new office though, they just opened it up a few months ago. I almost put in for a transfer when they were staffing the place but decided it was too costly to move to Florida.  Good luck and don't be nervous...

Good luck on your interview coming up!!

The specific documents he asked for were the appointment letter, both our Drivers licenses, my EAD and my SS card.

I had read about so many interview experiences that I felt like I had done that before, so I didn't feel nervous at all. That's why I recommend reading a lot and I wanted to share my experience in details.

They are just doing their job, checking the boxes and looking for red flags. Ultimately, they just want to make sure you will be a good resident and have good intentions, so if you know that in your heart than there is nothing to worry about.

Why do you have to redo your medical? I think you're adjusting status from a different visa than K-1, right? Sounds like the  process may be different, but just want to double check!!

Fingers crossed the St. Paul office is now chugging along...

    Congratulations!!

Our interview is in a month, I've spent the last couple of days going through my folder making sure we have everything ready. Medicals are this Friday. Hopefully the nerves don't get the better of me.

I would just like to say that I am SO GRATEFUL for this forum. It has gotten me through the past 11 months since submitting the AOS docs. There is only so much family and friends can say when they don't have personal experience dealing with USCIS, the frustration, the impatience, the stress...

You guys have been amazing. I hope we continue to check in with each other until after RoC and beyond. Would be fun one day to all meet up IRL!

Congrats PG! Hope your interview goes smoothly.

I protect my sanity by not even checking the mail more than twice a week anymore.
I see online that they responded to my Infopass SR on the 17th (yesterday) so I'll probably get the standard "expecting delay" letter by Friday. Congresswoman's office called today, they can confirm that USCIS has received my new medical and my case is under review (big relief). They told to give them 90 days and if still no decision, to contact the office for further assistance.
    ho hum.

We're eloping to Scotland next week, just the two of us. One our 1 year anniversary we'll have a big party in Minnesota with all family and friends.
We're going the CR1 route and wanted to do something that wouldn't annoy family either side of the pond but still be fun and have meaning for us. This time next week I'll be Mrs H. Eek!!
