Hello i am new here, My dad is a US Citizen and we filed a I130 for me and that was approved, but also I recently got engaged and planning on being married. My fiance filed for a K1 visa for me and we are awaiting approval, we filed in late April 2014, would my I130 effect that?
The K1 will get you in the US faster. It won't affect the i130 for now but once you get married and receive your GC, your dad can have the option to cancel the i130.
