Darn, I really thought I was done messing with USCIS but it has reared it's ugly head again.
My wife has been naturalized about a year ago and now we are trying to file for her son who was under 18 at the time of filing the N-600. We sent check and all required docs such as his BC including a certified translated copy. But now they are asking for more proof that, " . . You are in the legal and physical custody of your mother, ie, send a certified copy of the child custody agreement approved by the court granting your mother legal custody of you".
Well, my wife was never married to her son's father who never even spent one nickel on his son and is basically unreachable in Brazil. There has never been a need in Brazil to file for legal custody since the dad never cared much for his son. And her son came here to the US as a derivative of the K1 Visa and then got his 2 year and then subsequently the 10 year green card. The only thing my wife had was a paper that the father signed that he can get a passport and leave Brazil with his mom when she immigrated to the US which Brazilian customs took at port. Therefore, we really have nothing to show.
I am thinking I need to make an info pass appointment and try to explain to them that it is not black and white like it is here in the US. Anybody have any ideas what to do?

I married for the love, not for the money. I had more money, great job, in my home country, than here, and left all that and my family and friends because I wanted him. And never was sorry for bringing that decision. Money wont buy you a happiness!

Friday the 13th is good. So far anyway. Wife got her citizenship today. Yes today was her ceremony. I have to admit that I was a little bit scared also.

I believe that everyone should believe in something.
I believe that I will have an Ice Cold Beer tonight after work / after working out.

I stayed 10 days the first time and more than 40 days the second. Definately, the longer the time, the more you get to know their idiosyncrasies, which is important, and their day to day behavior. Short periods of time can be like a bunch of little honeymoons, where you are both on your best behavior. It's good to get past that and see what happens on a bad mood day and how you each handle the little things. I hope I will get to visit a third time within this year. That's my opinion.

and the sheep continue to rely on their government to rule their lives.

MY MAN
I met this man with the most beautiful smile you have ever seen. He smiles with his eyes, which now a days is a very rare quality. As soon as I saw him I fell in love with him. I could not have gotten a better and more loving husband. He is my husband, my best friend, my confidant, my lover and the person that allows me to be me. He is my soul mate. He is the being I want to spend eternity with. I ponder some times what I might have done to be rewarded with a husband like him. However, it really does not matter what I did to get such a husband, what matters is that I have him and I will love him forever. The more time I spend with him, the more I look at him, his smile, the twinkle in his eyes, and every single small and big thing he does. Every day I fall in love with him more and more, and believe me, it is possible. Love is infinite, therefore, it can continue growing. After all we have all eternity to keep on growing and expanding, and so does love. Some of the reasons I love him so much are (By the way these are only some of the reasons, there is hundreds); He loves Allah S.W.T. so much and helps me with Islam, He tells me I look beautiful and sexy literally every day. Even when I'm sick. The way he looks closely at me with his big brown eyes when I am sad makes me feel like no one in the whole world could ever break in between us and hurt me. He always speaks of me to his friends and family. He kisses and tells me how much he loves me numerous times throughout the day. He's a very warm, kind, humble, loving, and confident man. He always sends me messages to let me know how much he misses me and is always thinking of me and never forgets to tell me how much he is in love with me. He sends me songs that tell me he loves me. He loves Aneissa and Austin so much and and excepts them as his own. When I hurt he hurts and when I'm upset he makes me happy. He respects me, trusts me, and is faithful to me. He will miss matches of futball(soccer)just to be with me. Really I can't forget to mention how incredibly handsome he is, even though I know he justs wants to be average (But I'm sorry hunny, you are blessed in that department). You make me proud to be your wife. I will always and forever love you with everything I have.
