K-1s are considered non immigrant visas. After today, I can safely say that CEAC isn't updated accurately during this whole process. We had our interview on the 5th of June, but the case wasn't created until the 9th of June and we got our email today that our visa is being sent via DHL but CEAC says its approved but in final processing. With that, I would consider that CEAC is a few days behind the curve.I just looked at the state department website and the hope is to get the back log cleared out really soon...
What's frustrating is we spend oodles and gobs of money to buy equipment for visa and passport issuance and a hardware glitch stops the world in its tracks. I feel badly for the folks in the queue last week and this week... I really hope for everybody's sake, the back log clears quickly. I spoke with my fiancee today. everyday is one day filled with doubt about something happening along the way, from really getting her visa to be denied entry at the POE..Things are so new and such a change of life for our fiancees and this delay just hieghtens it..
I really hope this is very short lived for everybody..

Sounds like you're more about the green card rather than the marriage. Marriage first, than worry about the green card. Where are you living? How are you surviving? Are you certain that you're still married? Is he in contact with you?

It's not OK. And Yeah, an above average sense of humor is a basic requirement just to stay alive through this.
Seriously though, it's just not funny. It's NOT okay that families are kept apart, not because of the requirements for additional screening or even in the interests of security, but solely due to bad management, incompetence and complete apathy. These are people's lives. People are not case numbers or bar codes. We are real people with hopes and dreams.
What is also really sad is that this forum was for people to share information and experiences, have a safe place to vent and get support and understanding ... yet the system, NOT the people, have caused a deep and painful divide between CSC and TSC filers. It's like a 'them and us' situation. Poor case load management and glossing over of an ever growing problem has caused it to become progressively severe over time. It's like taking two kids, putting them in a room and giving one of them a bag of candy and a big box of cool toys and saying: "Have fun, but you can't share with your friend."
We are through TSC now, but I honestly still feel quite raw about the whole experience and how it affected me. It took a toll on my emotions, my family, friendships fell apart because people thought I was making things up as I went along and being hurt and super sensitive, I cut ties with them completely, family have been concerned, it took a toll on my health .... Anyone here feeling the same right now? There's nothing wrong with you and you're not weak. This is unnecessary torture.
Sorry, this is part rant and part "We know what you're going through". For what it's worth. You guys don't deserve this. Still hoping the pace picks up somehow at TSC. Still here and watching for your approvals.

my case got sent to the NVC!!!!! I feel like 7 months of suffering were worth it lol.. makes this next phase a lot more fun

We got our approval this morning!! 211 days later and we finally have our NOA2.
Hoping for quick approvals for everyone still waiting!

But you should adjust your timeline and put your NOA2 on April 3rd then It will make the processing time data more accurate

Approved. Got text at 2:12 this morning. So relieved.
Hoping that approvals come quickly for all of you that are still waiting and that everyones journey moves quickly and without further troubles.

I went to bed last night with no hopes as usual. I stopped trying to wait up till 9:30 long ago. I woke up to my alarm this morning and I got the text!!! Finally approved. Don't loose hope people. Trust me I know the pain and suffering of the wait. I have never cried so much and I am a guy lol. All I suggest to those who are still waiting is dont lose hope and stop expecting it. The surprise is that much better!!

Somewhat masochistically I want to ride out the Texas Service Center 'till the bitter end. I want to be able to tell my grandkids all the war stories about refreshing the USCIS webpage every day.......

Has TSC just stopped working this week? There are hardly any approvals and they are all random expedites (or wrongly completed timelines) and then a few late September, October and an August petition. I think it's like a lucky dip.
I don't think June is unreasonable as long as none of you are in the unlucky 220+ day batches. We were approved last week and I think we will safely have our interview before the end of May, so for September filers, June isn't unreasonable if your consulate is efficient.
Hoping tonight and tomorrow brings some good news for September.

Would you guys say that expecting your fiance(e) to be here by July a long shot? :/ I was expecting my fiance to be here by April/May when I started the process which of course isn't possible. The average just keeps getting longer and longer :'(
