    Gotcha, thanks a lot. I just wish there was some way I could stay in the US with my fianceé during this whole process, but I'm sure you can all relate to that feeling. We planned my current stay around the belief that by the time I got back to England in January things would be ready for the rest of the process over there *sigh*

    It's ridiculous, you could've definitely forfeited the begun K1 process if you went to the states without the K1 visa in your passport and got married. Sorry you guys had to go through that, man, some people just shouldn't be working there. Honestly, the only thing you can do is keep calling. You can try for another Tier 2, not all of them are incompetent. If you decide to call NVC, just be persistent. I think the average redialing is like 50+ to get through to them, but they more often than not will give you actual solid information on what is going in. You want to stay on top of this as it could potentially shorten your wait by quite a lot if it's in the hands of the London embassy and they just haven't reached out to you yet. All the good luck to you and your fiancée!

    Call USCIS firstly, and follow the advice from Saylin's NVC process wiki;
    "...if your case doesn't arrive at NVC in a timely manner (timely manner being the current wait time), VJ member tokinaija suggests: "Call USCIS, and specifically request to be connected to a Tier 2 supervisor (bypassing the contract customer reps). When connected to a Tier 2 representative, request that you want confirmation that your approved case has been physically shipped to NVC. In amenable words, request for the specific date that the package was shipped. If you are lucky, you will get someone who would take the time to confirm this for you."
    If you can get that confirmation, call the NVC. Our NOA2 dates aren't that far apart. It took just over a month from NOA2 for our case to reach the NVC, and then a further 3 weeks for our case number to be assigned. Hopefully, given the amount of time since your NOA2, it's reached the NVC and a case number/IIN has been allocated.

    Bollocks, I knew we should have called sooner. We've been blindly hoping for a reply to our email for the last month.
    It says "case was approved." Definitely an NVC thing now.

    Call, call, call, as soon as you can. The same thing happened to our case as they didn't send us our welcome letter or first packet of instructions, which led to us not being up to date with how they want paperwork sent in and making a mistake. They told us it was due to system issues, which is something I'm seeing quoted more and more often these days.

    Thanks, I'll get on that tomorrow. It's interesting how we have similar timelines only a few weeks apart and both of our petitions seem to have gotten "lost." Good luck to you as well!

    we r almost in the same situation, noa2 but no case number so we kept calling on nvc till they said that is odd and they asked if we have our second notification and to send them a scan. Next week we'll have some explanation. Here is the number of nvc (603) 334-0700
    Customer Service Representatives can speak with you Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. EST to 12:00 midnight EST.
    Petitioner should call them as soon as posible
    Good luck!

    Call the NVC. If they have the case, they will give you the LND number over the phone and tell you when it left for London. It does sound lost though because in that amount of time the beneficiary would have received a letter from London with the K1 instructions.
    You petition is easily extended by London so no worries there.
