    Hi all
    I would like to thank Visa journey and all of its very caring and helping members. We got our CR1 visa last week and I am so excited for my husband to come home. Once again thank you and good luck in your journey.

    You should call NVC.
    I sent my request on Aug. 15
    Re-sent my request again on Aug. 20
    Got the "under review" email on Aug. 22
    Called NVC Aug. 25, they told me I was approved
    Got approved email on Aug. 28
    Case arrived at the embassy on Sept. 9
    Got hard copy of expedite approval in the mail today Sept. 11
    All depends on how fast your embassy responds. Luckly the embassy in Nicaragua was super fast.

    He would need to have the cars appraised and if he has a lien on them then the appraisal value minus the lien.
    Unless he owns them 100% then it's just the appraised value.
    but again, like aaron mentioned, they also need to be registered to him.

    A person only needs one car to get to work. That is why one car can not be used for the I-864.
    His 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc. cars can be used as assets on the I-864.

    they get an appraisal from a licensed appraiser - per car.
