    Hi Everyone, I received my naturalization certificate today and I would like some help.     Thank you! I recived my Oath letter about 5days after the interview and it showed up online a day after interview. Good Luck!

    I had my interview recently (3year marriage) and the immigration officer had everything I ever submitted to them in my file. He didn’t ask for much more than my passport, DL and Green Card. I submitted all my taxes and everything else when I filed online. He did add any additional information that I brought to my application (babies birth certificates and traffic ticket)

    My friend is be married  and would have her green card for 5years this coming October. She’s been trying to work stuff out with the husband but it really goes nowhere. They have two kids together, file joint taxes together but divorce may or may not happen. She wants to file her papers base on the 3year rule but is unsure about it. She doesn’t know if they might get divorced between now and October, or before her interview which is going to be so far away. Is she ok to file now while they are still married under the 3year rule and just take the divorce paperwork to her interview, whenever that maybe? Thanks

    We’re you arrested before your green card interview? I feel like they are only really interested in stuff that happen since issuing your Green Card.

    It took 11 months total. I submitted February 2018 and got inter January 2019. Even when I got my interview my case was still showing August 2019 to complete. I wouldn’t really go off of that.

    Hi JohnE, thank you! He didn’t give any idea of when the ceremony will be but that I will receive something in the mail. I checked online today but only update is that my application was approved and a letter would be mailed when oath is scheduled. I’m hoping sooner than later. I’m in Atlanta. Good Luck to your wife.

    I arrived at 1:45pm for my 2:15pm interview. After I finished checking in and headed upstairs it was about 2:10. The check in line was very crowded. I was finally called in for my interview at about 2:30. The officer asked me to raised and hand and repeat words after him. We then sat down and I was asked to verify my name and birth date. He then asked me to read and write something for the English portion. He then asked me 6 questions, which a I answered correctly. He went over the application, correcting any mistakes and adding documents that I may did not submit  when I filed. We discussed my name change, the Oath ceremony. At the end he recommended my application for approval.  Overall the process was very relaxed and I think that was because of my interviewing officer.

    Mine still says estimated August 2019. I didn’t get notified or anything that I was in line for an interview. They just went right to scheduling the interview. From one Trini to another, good luck and I hope you hear something soon!

    Did you fill the N-400 based after 5 years with a GC or after 3 years being married to a US Citizen.

    I filled iN SLC, UT  which should be a dash faster than Atlanta but I did not get an answer yet.

    Thank you! I filed based on 3years being married. I’m actually shock that I got an interview this early. My interview is on 1/22/19. I hope here something soon.

    My friend not on here was a late July filer at VSC and had her application transferred to CSC, since she changed address in the beginning of June. She got notification and everything about the transfer of her case going to CSC. Today she received a letter stating her 10 year green card was approved and wait 60 days for the card to arrive. 

    I'm a July filer at VSC so I'm hoping we hear something soon.
