  1. Hi guys! :) Our case was received at NVC on July 2nd. And Im wondering if I could add more evidence of bonafide relationship to my IV packet coz we did not frontload our i-130. We only submitted NSO marriage cert, Skype screenshots, Skype call log, Facebook timeline screenshot showing we are married to each other, money transfer receipt photocopy, wedding pics, random pics together, flight itinerary, passport stamps. I'm not sure if these are enough evidence. I believe we got approved so quick coz of the auto-expedite for Philippines, well Im not sure. :P

    {I am the beneficiary}

Do you think it's okay if I add more Skype screenshots (dates are after the petition has been approved at USCIS) and a copy of my SSS E-4 where I added my spouse as beneficiary and ID, I did not include this in our 1-130 coz I haven't received my new SSS ID (containing my married name) in May yet., so I'm wondering if I should add this.

I also downloaded a complete transcript of our Facebook messages beginning 2011, but I guess I should just bring this in the interview. Thanks in advance for your help! Goodluck everyone :)

  2. Just got my DS-261 and AOS instructions. I tried to pay the bill, but came up with error message saying the case was in the process if being closed. When I talked to NVC, they said it takes a couple of days for processing and paying the bill. I'll keep you all updated!

Thanks for the update.:) Was able to talk to NVC after being on hold for 35 minutes. And hurray, they got our package on July 2nd!!! We gotta call them on August 2nd for the case#.

Godbless to everyone. Praying for quick approval for all May filers. :)

  3. Hi VJ members, we are currently filling out i-864ez, and we are not sure what to put on #18:individual annual income. My husband filed as MFS for tax year 2013. He received wage increase since two months ago, and obviously, this increase has not been reflected on 2013 IRS tax return yet.

Im trying to help my hubby to fillout i-864ez but I'm not very familiar with the tax return forms in the US, I hope you can help me....

    First question is:

    1. Where do we get the answer for #18- are we going to refer to 2013 IRS tax transcript(total income), or do we refer to his recent paystubs which show the increase?

*I'm thinking he should get a letter from his employer stating his current annual income.

    I have some other questions:

    2. Btw, if we are including paystubs in the AOS package, do they need the originals or just photocopy?

    3. I saw some posts saying the beneficiary's alien number can be found on NOA2 hardcopy? Is that true? Coz ours only showed my husband's (petitioner) A number. He is now a USC.

    4. On 1-864ez #14: My husband has been a citizen since 1997, if he ticks the box for "I am a US citizen," does he still need to put his A-number parallel to the second option which says "I am an LPR"?

Thank you so much everyone. Have a good day! :)

  4. i need help guys..ive read some forum that the police clearance is needed as one of the requirements for NVC..In philippines NBI clearance i guess is what we are goin to get.my question is ,is it ok if the clearance was realeased march 2014 and expires march 2015. or do i need to get another recent one...thank you and god bless us all ;)

I will be getting myself a new one this July. :)

  5. WRONG!!!! You don't submit W2's with transcripts UNLESS the transcripts are from a joint return but only one of individual's income is being used.

That poster was incorrect. If you submit transcripts, you don't need W2 forms unless the transcript is from a joint return but only one income is being used to qualify. The W2 would indicate the one person's income.

Yeah, I also read that on the instructions. Well, my husband's filed as MFS, and we are using I-1864EZ so yeah I guess we only need IRS tax transcripts. Thank you!

  6. this is what we saw in USCIS website today.

WE shipped this approved or re affirmed case to the department of state for visa processing.

does this mean that the next step is NVC now and wait for them to received the package and wait and call again for the case number?... thank you kababayan for answering my question ;) god bless us all ;)

Yay! Yes, it's on its way to NVC... Some VJers suggest that we call after two weeks to check if they have the package. Then after knowing they received the package, wait maximum of 30 days before calling them for the case#.

While waiting, you can start reading up Saylin's wiki:

    http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

Walang anuman, kababayan. Goodluck satin! :)

  7. thank you so much for the info kababayan :) ,,we didnt signed the text/email notification,we forgot to signed and include it in our package,so we are not receiving any notifications about our case,we are just looking on their online case status (USCIS website) and a hard copy mail..,do think we will see it online or they will write it in the mail (NOA2) that they already send it to NVC? .thank you so much :) and godbless us all, :)

Yeah, I meant through the USCIS website. You can register for case status automatic updates via email and/or text by creating a My Case Status account (USCIS website). :)

  8. thank you, :) one more question, will they inform us that our package was already shipped to NVC? ,:) and when they finally got the package,as you said we will wait 20-30days before calling them for the case number?...thank you and godbless :)

You're welcome kababayan. Yes, USCIS will inform you once they ship your petition to NVC. Ours was received 3 days after NOA2. If you signed up for email/text in My Case Status, they will send you notification.

They said the standard wait time for case number is 30 days after NVC receives your case. But I have seen some who got theirs after 20-something days. Goodluck to all of us,. and God bless you and your spouse! :)

  9. Just an update guys,I went home almoat weeping today.Got up at 4 am to go to the NBI office here in the province.I explained my situation everything that I can think of.I even showed them the clearance I got last month. They would not do the aka here unless I have/had spelling correction and discrepancies in my birth certificate.I talked to their boss and he said for them to do it,they need the letter from the USem requesting for it (which I dont have).I tried calling the main nbi office in Manila and it keeps routing me to a hold music then ivr again even if i press 0 for operator (listened for about 3 mins, nothing) So i sent them an email hopefully they reply, most govt agencies in Manila do.Called the iv unit.Cant get through.I dont like stress, its our wedding monthsary after all.Haha

Sorry to hear that, I hope they reply to you soon. I will get a new NBI this July, I'll try to ask them to put my maiden name (under AKA), if if they don't want, then I guess an NBI without the aka would do. Some VJers were successful in the interview without the aka.

    Happy wedding monthsary,btw! ?
