Hi everyone!
Alhamduillah my husband made it to the states on Tuesday . From the day his visa was issued on ceac until he actually got his visa was 8 days. It was issued dec 13 and he got it dec 20. The only other fee we paid was actually for his green card which was $165. You pay it online. You can do it before or after he arrives to the u.s.
If anyone needs any help please let me know. I will help with whatever I can

my husband enter the states on dec 22. I am trying to see if they have processed it or not. i called uscis, but i was asked for ioe number, but i didn't have it. the lady told me to go on uscis.gov website and request it from there, but i have no idea what is she talking about. can someone help. thank you!

If my aos fee changes to n/a does that mean case complete? I haven't called nvc

I know that we get screwed once it's actually in the embassy, but with nvc i know someone who's from yemen and she filed feb. 2013 and was done with uscis and nvc by oct. 2013, but now she has been waiting for an interview since oct. 2013 and the embassy has been closed for the last two weeks.

Honestly, this clearly shows that people at nvc have zero knowledge about confidentiality. disregard? is he serious or stupid? and what "guarantee" , like he claims, that our information have never been sent to the wrong person? no offense to him, but he only answers our calls. wow, it really makes me feel very uncomfortable. and you know, IF, lets say someone got a hold of my information and was able to screw it up for me, nvc would come after me and say I am a total fraud of something. people lose their practicing licenses and can get in so much trouble for releasing identifying information. what is this guy talking about?

That's soo crazy and scary. I can't believe it, but if I were you I wouldn't post this info on a public forum, especially with important information. I would also contact NVC and let them know they before they send emails to actually confirm that they are being sent to the right person....unless they got hacked

did everyone know that the NVC website has a sample for the DS-260, I didn't know that. Here's the link if anyone is interested

after reviewing it 100 times, having 3 of my sisters look it over, and looking at it again, losing some hair and gaining some weight, I finally emailed my AOS packet today.

I just paid my AOS fee!! I am literally shaking lol

Getting an interview is like a miracle. I know people that have been waiting for 7-8 months and some for 2-6 years to get an interview. It's horrible and the last week and this week the embassy is closed due to the ####### that's going on and according to them they are low staffed, and many zillion other reasons of things.
My biggest fear is not going through the process in the u.s. It's once it's in Yemen. That's the hardest part for me and what makes me worry.,but inshaAllah, everything will work out.
