I am planning to send them a medical case as well as safety issue since I am living here in Egypt

Mine was scanned 2nd of June .. one day before ya.

Yet it seems they are still working on the 28th of may cases and check lists so far

So 29th, 30th, and the 2nd of June are left .. (since 31st of May and 1st of June were holidays)

This week (Mon - Fri) the NVC were processing 27th and 28th of May, didn't see any 29th so far

Which makes it one of the very slowest rates ever in the NVC --> only two days of cases in the entire working week

So if they stay in the same rate they should reach both our dates after one more week (starting 14th July)

I hope they act faster so you get there response regarding your case next week

NVC working week (5 days) was enough to finish processing for (6 days) of cases and lists

Two weeks ago:

NVC working week (5 days) was enough to finish processing for

(6 days) of cases and lists: 13-16 & 19-20 May

One week ago:

NVC working week (5 days) was enough to finish processing for

(4 days) of cases and lists: 21-23 & 26 May

This week:

NVC working week (5 days) i believe they would finish processing

(4 days) of cases and lists hopefully: 27-30 May

My case was scanned on 2nd of June

I believe they will reach it early next week

All feel free to jump in with their personal time frames along this thought

tell your husband to go to any "seggell madany" they should have your marriage certificate scanned in the system and ready for extra copy printing after about 30 days from marriage .. the printable ones will look different though .. not as big in size and more colored .. still in Arabic though

When it comes to sending the certificate to the US for visa processing .. it needs to be translated to English from authorized translators .. you will find the list of such translators in us embassy in cairo website ..

Finally some lawyers claim that such printed copies still need stamps from Ministry of foreign affairs .. others claim not .. not about that

I don't know what day the NVC have reached so far .. last I heard was a CC for scanned packages on 22nd .. that was 7 days ago

Maybe they reached cases scanned on 29th or 30th .. maybe not sure

It seems that the NVC is having a slow processing rate.

All the USCIS cases that were pushed fast through extra working hands and service centers to bring the average USCIS finish time from 11 months back to 5 months have been gushing into the NVC lately, getting scanned and then waiting in the line (Which is getting longer by time).

I hope they can manage this rough load and be capable of processing cases fast.

The current working rate is 1.14 day(s) of scanned cases (non weekend days) in 1 working day (non weekend day)

last week's rate was 1.5 day(s) of scanned cases (non weekend days) in 1 working day (non weekend day)

I know it is early in the week to judge their performance. Usually they start slow and end the week fast.

Anyway, I hope we see more cc (case complete) this week to make their rate better than the slow 1.14 figure.

This is just depressing to wait so long for an Egypt interview. ? and im just getting started with NVC.

I think it takes between 4-6 weeks between scheduling your interview to your interview date

The NVC today, 19th of June, has reached cases scanned on the 20th of May

On the 13th of June, a nice woman told me that the NVC is working on the 12th of May scanned cases (on the hush hush side)

That means in 6 calendar days the NVC finished worth 8 days of scanned cases/packages

A rate of 1.3 days of scanned packages every calendar day

My case was scanned on the 2nd of June.

That means I have 12 more days of scanned packages

If they continue with the same rate

They will reach my case date in 9 days from today

Did any one get case complete lately to complete this "WILD HYPOTHESIS"

Hello Everyone,

First time to write ever.

1) I sent both packages (IV and AOS) together at the same date. Does that make the processing faster/slower/ doesn't matter?

2) They were both DHL expressed on 05/28/2014 then scanned 06/02/2014, any idea when case should be complete in case no check list is generated (Hopefully) ?

Any one here submitted close to the same time? Any news?
