    Actually, the way this may benefit F2A category is by actually make it like IR category, ie Permanent Resident petitioning for husband/spouse or U21 child will not be subject to visa quota. The minute the petition is approved by USCIS and forwarded to NVC for processing, an immigrant visa will be available.
    Bear in mind that regardless of what Obama decides, immigrants will always need a petition to be approved by USCIS and NVC before you are granted a visa.

    @dew drop - that's good to know. i wouldn't be surprised if they are processing the NOA2 but not releasing them...just the ones that have RFE. it just doesn't seem fair to approve i-130 so close their PD....thus leaving applicants with less time to respond.

    This doesn't fill me with confidence, but today the USCIS page updated VSC processing times.
    I-129F's show as 8.9 months, and the detailed page now shows.... *gulp* 14 June 2011 as the current processing date....
    LOTS of other petitions now show as MUCH longer wait times.... what the heck happened!

    My PD is March 14, 2014 i guess i should join here. Got NOA1 and notify that our journey will go to Nebraska service center hope everything goes well and smooth for all of us! Keep on praying. Godbless us all

    GO TO THE POLICE, PLEASE!!
    I was in similar situation 20 years ago, not as violent as murders that you wrote, but I was, no one believed me. I didint go to the police because I was scared of him, and that was the biggest mistake I ever did. Please get help go to the police.
