03/03/2014 I received a hard copy of our NOA1 our case is at Nebraska Service Center for approval!
Since February 25 it is on initial review.
I saw that Nebraska is working now on January 2nd, 2014 as february filers we are almost there! Good luck to all of you.
By the way I check my phone day and night hoping to see a text with my approval info ahhahaha. -
Yeah, you have to be patient here in Houston. You should get a date pretty soon since our timelines are close. We had a lawyer who just made sure we gather enough evidence and sign in the correct boxes lol. (this shouldn't make a difference) I'm the spouse.. and yes we also applied for EAD which is still under intial review.
Iam feb filer.
There is a feb posting.
On average (calculated), everyone got there EAD 66-69 days after the date they received the package... The number is pretty accurate; Including RFEs.
After testing & interview status, it is Random, some people got date in 2 days and some got in more than a month. Took 3 weeks for me

Interview date set for June 19.
Goodluck Kenyan.
Mine is on 30th may

Thank you to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you to VisaJourney.com. This website was so helpful to me and my husband throughout the AOS process. This website has accurate information and I found answers to so many of our questions. We did not use an attorney to prepare the applications (I-485, I-130, I-864, I-765). We followed the guides from this site. Our interview lasted about 45 minutes. We had a couple of red flags and I thought the officer would review our case for a couple of months and then make a decision. We did consult with an attorney and were told not to expect an approval on the day of the interview. The attorney advised us that we could wait up to 90 days.
The officer told us that we had sufficient evidence (I had tons of evidence) for an approval and I was so happy inside when I heard the loud thump of the approval stamp on our AOS application.
Again thank you VisaJourney. This site is so wonderful and helpful for people with straight forward cases and people with red flags like ours.
Our case status has been changed on the USCIS website to Card Production.
Send an email to me if you would like tips on what marriage evidence to submit.
Timeline:
February 28, 2014 NOA date for I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131
April 1, 2014 Biometrics Appointment
May 6, 2014 EAD/AP approval
May 10, 2014 Received Combo EAD/AP card
May 19, 2014 AOS interview-approved!
What were the red flags if you dont mind sharing?

We don't have an interview date yet. Mailed to Chicago on Feb 4th and then sent to Missouri. Local office is Washington, D.C. Anyhow, all the info we have for the green card is the generic "address has been changed" message. Anyone know if the interview date will be set shortly? We are leaving the country in late August for a huge wedding ceremony so I'm a little bit worried. Seems to be taking longer than most people
This is unusual delay.
My local office is also the Washington DC.
Can you please post your full timeline including RFEs if u had one

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply.
So, it has to be a certified copy of the marriace document by the authorities. We had included this in our original package.
For the interview we brought the original certificate, so she could match it against the certified copy.
My advice: bring the original AND the certified copy if it wasn't included in your package you sent. Just a copy won't do the job for them.
I had also brought my original birth certificate, so that they saw it.
How do I get a certified copy?
Is it just a regular copy then i have to get it notarized?

Hi all,
I don't post very frequently but find your experience and posts amazingly useful. So thank you first of all!
I filed all 3 forms concurrently on 03/18 and haven't received any RFE which I assume is a good sign. My I-485 USCIS case status was moved forward to 'Testing & Interview' on 05/05. Does that mean that I have an interview coming for sure?
Also, I'm frustrated at the wait with EAD. I know that it's not been a very long time, but I'm sitting on a job offer and I'm worried that I'll lose it if I have to wait another 6 weeks to get my card. I saw that at least one person here requested, and was successful with, an expedite on the EAD specifically. Do you think there's a case for me to make a request?
I remember feeling this same way during the K-1 visa process. I can't wait for it to be over so I can start to live a normal life again!
Michael
'testing & interview' means u got it all right, now just wait for the date.
from the day u file till the day u have your EAD in hand is currently averaged at 68days.
I am feb filer, we all calculate this number in that forum
-
My husband's EAD was shipped today and our interview is in two weeks!
PLease add your timeline to the signature section

Based on many Feb timelines,
I noticed from the time the EAD goes into Production till the point it is delivered it takes approximately 8 days...
Do think that average is correct?

Congrats on everyone's progress! I've been busy job hunting, have a part-time job lined you if I pass a background screening and drug test. I want full-time but I'll take what I can get right now!
Erica,
You havent got an interview date?
I read your list of stuff to collect for the interview.
You better damn well get approved, lol, your list is pretty intense!..
-
Congratulations to all who have been getting notices or approvals! Yay!
Well, its been almost a month and a half since our AOS interview and over a month since we sent our RFE over to our IO. No updates or anything from USCIS. My lawyer has not been to proactive with our case and so far no follow up from him. I am not sure why the immigration officer was such a mean one.
I am so disheartened by this whole process which has given me doubts on why I even want to become a LPR here in the US. I love my husband & made this so called great country my home for the last 12 years. Since I have applied for adjustment I can not leave the country to go back to Canada to see my son graduate from high school this coming May 8th. If I leave, this will definitely make it impossible for me to apply again and the possibility of being barred from coming here and I have a young family here. I just hope and pray that an approval will be made soon so I will be able to get this whole experience behind me. Praying all will work out in the end. Just venting guys....thanks for listening.
Which location was the interview?
When was file date?
What was your RFE?
