    Hello, I just want to ask if I can petition my parents while they are in the US on a tourist visa? For example, if my parents arrived in the US as tourists but while they are here, I changed my mind and decided to petition them to live permanently in the US instead. Is this allowed without the need to go back to the Philippines because they are only tourists and to wait there while the papers are still in process? i would appreciate a response please. Thank you.
