My medical is this Wednesday I'm more nervous about it than the interview which is 10 days away!

dont worry! u'll be fine! but yea i remmber how nervous i was too haha

my medical examiner though kinda interviewed me haha

she asked me: "did you win the lottery?"

i ansewered: "yes"

and then she said: "ohh lucky you!"

i smiled =)

then she said: "it's so difficult to win diversity visa"

then i was like: " oh no no, i didnt win the diversity visa lottery!! i thought when you asked me if i won the lottery, i thought you meant winning my wife's heart! lol i didnt apply for diversity visa! i am married to a us setizen!" =)))

then we both laughed haha and she said obviously ur in too much love with her! haha

i smiled =)

and then she told me alright come tomorrow to get ur medical result!

Just got back from my interview and I have to say to was easy, everybody was so nice to me and I got approved yay finally I get to be with my hubby . Thank god! I will post my review later today

got a text msg on the phone from the post office saying my visa package is ready for pick up!!!! yayyy!! gonna go pick it up in an hour!!

flight ticket booked for Dec 7th

Istanbul (IST) to London (LHR) , btw (will wait for 4 hours at London airport)

sooo excitedddd to be with my cutiee 7oobbbbbb =)

omg just got an email from the embassy telling that the visa package is submitted to the courier and also the air waybill tracking number is given!! and also it says it takes 1 to 2 days on average for the package to be available to pick up!!

YAAAYY SOOO EXCITINGGG!!

Ok, I'm getting super duper nervous now. My last day at work was Friday, so it feels really weird to not be going back to work and seeing everyone tomorrow. My interview is two days away and it's such a big deal that my insides are going cray-cray. I really want Tuesday to be over and done with so I can wait in for my package >.<

oh tell me about it! the interview is in less than 30 hours!!

11) orignal signed I 864

12) police clearance certificate

13) 4 passport size photo +orignal passport

14) money transfer receipt almost 100 of them

15) hotel bills

16) interview letter

ya its different, i got cc on 6 of november and i dont know if i will get December interview, i dont know if beirut embassy is considered as busy embassy.

yea, ur right.. like ankara embassy takes around 55 days ( on average) from case complete to interview day. (mine took 53 days!)

idk about beirut embassy how busy it is.. but like ankara has around 14 CR1 cases a month (roughly)

how did you know about the number of cases in your country ?

it's available on the embassy website link under "interview schedule"

i just checked the us embassy in Beirut and it's not the same!! there's no "interview schedule" link where u can see all the month appointments.

i guess its totally different from embassy to another!

maybe it's better not to know the other cases haha so u dont worry!!

guys, i have a question!

so there are 14 CR1 cases for november in Ankara embassy (turkey)

and my case is the 9th case which is on november 18th, so there are 3 cases on the 17th and 4 cases on the 18th and 3 cases on the 19th. all these cases status is still ready BUT they all got status update last week like some nov 5th, nov 6th and nov 7th. EXCEPT my case didnt get status update it's still says: status update: Oct 29th.

i'm afraid if this means early signal of A.P

does anybody have any idea about this status update thingy??

i noticed that cases get 2 times status updates before the interview.

so i'm freaking out about this..

btw, my case changed from " IN TRANSIT " to " READY " on Oct 27 and got status update on Oct 29th!

similar to all the other cases too they all had first status update around (OCT 27, 28, 29) except that they got second status update last week whereas my case didnt..

im stressing out so much about this and like everyone here in vj i dont wana wait more months... and we already made plans to travel around california if i get the visa.. but it's all depending on the interview and the visa..

oh btw, about the photos album, i picked photos of us and the trips we've been to and family photos and stuff it's 150 photos!

so should i take like a photocopy of all thses photos for the interview in case the CO wants the photos so i can give the photocopy??? or i should give the original printed photos?? ( which BTW wasnt very cheap actually =) around 50 $ )

plus 20 photos of our marriage photos!

Yes my friend faced this issue..after submission 3rd day they issued his visa.. if joint filing you need to submit I864 for joint sponsor plus I864a from his/her spouse.

my mother in law is my joint sponsor. While she files her taxes jointly with her husband, she is the only sponsor for my case (my father in law is not a citizen)

Hi all Wife just had interview, everything went so well until the CO asked for a joint sponsor. So yes she's in AP now. My question is, I found a joint sponsor. He's married and files taxes jointly. His wife works but doesn't make a lot of money, maybe $5000 a year. Do they need to fill out both an i864 and i864a or not? He will include 2013 tax return &w2, copy of u.S passport and letter from employer on company letterhead. Please help. CO said the faster we submit the documents, the faster wife gets her approval. ?

hey just a quick question btw, i'm gona take our photos album to the interview with all the other documents and stuff.

is it gonna be a problem that the photo album is thick and i was thinking it might nt be possible to pass it to the CO through the window becuase the space is thin. is this gonna be a problem? i m freaking out if i wont be able to pass the photos album to the CO...

then i thought if i wont be able to pass it through the window, then the CO might ask me to show the photos, but i want the CO to see the photos CLOSEEE!!

any ideas??

I think 40 pages of email is okay , regarding the pictures, yeah it will be nice if you can pick very good and lovely pictures and putting them in an album. During my husband interview in Moscow, we had one wedding album and another album for normal pictures and we had 86 skype pages, 225 call logs, 7 affidavits, 24 pages of email, 30 pages of facebook chat log and the CO doesn't want to check them all, my husband had to tell her she must check them cos it took us alot of time to get all these things done and also spent money to get them all printed out and the CO laughed and said we are sorry about that and she got it and checked everything one after the other, but smiled and said everything is fine. So i would suggest you put those pictures in an album. Dont forget to go along with photocopies of everything you submitted to the NVC.

I was doing a documentation inventory today and I'm good for everything except the courier instructions/confirmation and the proof of marriage. I know the UK isn't really a place to worry about being denied for lack of a legit marriage, so I'm just going to take some photos of when I visited him in August. There is so much material to go through with my Skype and Whatsapp chats that I just don't have the time or patience to sift through and select things. They should have some chats in my I-130 petition package anyway.. I sent them stuff going back to 2005!

I can't believe how fast time has flown. I remember it being 30 days until the interview and I felt time was going too slow. Now I'm almost halfway through that wait!

i ve been going crazy with the skype chats and which ones to print and scroling backword killed part of me

so i let my wife take care of it and she ended up printing 11 pages of chats we had showing the duration of our call and in different times with intervals!

and about emails, we printed 40 pages!

so, do you think this is gonna be fine? is it nt enough for proof of relationship??

and yea i'm so excited for the interview!!! 16 days left!!! but im gona be so upset if ( and probably high possibility ) i get A.P ((( alright i shouldnt think about it

and also about photos, are you gona print photos and take them? or do u think it's a good idea to make a nice album showing all the nice photos??
