Hi! sorry for intruding but I downloaded that USCIS app (american flag and eagle in the middle icon), add you case number and i put the first number from my biometrics paper and there you have it, whatever changes, it shows up in the app.

you need the WAC number from I-797 NOA, and go to USCIS.gov site put in the numbers (there are two numbers, one from receipt and one for biometric appointment)

Oh man! I’m so sorry to hear that!
I did not send a lot of evidence like bank statements and joint lease or utility bills because neither me nor my husband was working then. I wrote an explained cover letter though. I’m so nervous now!

Still legal, just not able to travel outside of the USA, as far as I know. He will need the stamp to do that. Otherwise, it's business as usual until approval 👍

There is a minute chance of receiving a misdemeanor charge for no proof of status and depending on where you live, detention for no proof. Extremely unlikely but I read of a US citizen who was detained recently until she could produce her passport (hopefully she sues). I'm fear-mongering, I'll admit,  but I figure in the current climate it's good to have all bases covered where possible.

    Sure
    I called at +1 (800)375 5283
And dialed the extension for "can't find receipt number" to get to a human..lol
I initially called them to find out why I received two noa1(yes I received two of them with two different receipt numbers) so the person could not answer my question and connected me to an immigration officer..
And she said I received two of them due to an error and she also told me about my upcoming biometric date

Had our AOS Interview yesterday in Detroit,MI office. Our schedule was 7:45 AM and got there around 7:30 and checked in to the lady who looked at our Interview Appointment and after that we were told to wait in a Waiting Area and after 15 minutes my name was called by an Officer. He was nice to us. He greeted us and lead us to a room and told us to sit down. He told us that the Interview wouldn't take long for us since he already checked our file and it seems everything is there and very well organized. He just asked basic questions like Name, Address, Birthday, Parent's Name and my POE and Date of Entry. He asked the Yes or No questions in the I485 form. After that, he told us that he will Approve us and that we could check the status of our Application online later that day and for sure it will already be updated to Approved and reminded us about the Removal of Conditions and discuss a little about it. And he finally told us that our Green Card will be mailed and we should expect it within 2 weeks.
The whole Interview didn't last very long really. Just about 10-15 minutes. Though I brought tons of stuff like copies of the Original packet we sent and Copies and Original documents for our Supporting documents and proof of relationshipand photos, he didnt really asked for them. All he asked and looked at are our passports(me and daughter), my Work Authorization card which he returned to me, and my husbands ID.
Evrything went Great for me. And I'm just happy that everything is done and will be free from USCIS for some time...

Yes you still get RFE after NOA1.. The NOA1 is just a notice that they got ur packet and will give you your Case Number.

I think they do that for everybody when they get here for the first time. When I came here in 2004 the did exactly the same with my mom my brother and me. At the secondary room they asked us who was the sponsor(my father) and asked us about the address to where we wanted our green card to arrived. As I can remember they didn't give us anything from the develop just our passport with the stamp.

I haven't scheduled an interview for my k1 visa yet, but I do have my second visitor visa and I scheduled both appointments the exact same way, for the embassy in Bucharest. It is pretty easy, which is nice :-)
