Hello everyone, I just arrived in the US a week ago, my spouse and I are planning to go to Canada and visit some friends there, my question is I don't have my SSN yet, my passport has a stamp from POE, what do I need to go to Canada or am I even allowed to leave the country even if I don't have my SSN yet?

We stayed at Soriente Hotel, it's just walking distance to SLEC, we paid about 2,000 pesos per day for the room then 300 pesos for extra bed.

11 hours and 30 mins left for my interview! I feel so nervous :<

Just got home from my interview and my visa is APPROVED!!!!!!!!! Finally!! Thank you to the vj community!! Now unto waiting for my visa the american consul who interviewed me didnt mention anything about the delay so i didnt bother asking coz i dont want to ruin the moment! But anyways i can now sleep peacefully coz my immigration journey is almost over! Thank you god! Goodluck and congrats in advance everyone.

Now i'm sad and dissapponted.. my husband the peritioner went for his medical at St. Lukes on tuesday and yesterday wednesday they told him to come back for his immunization but they ended up telling him he needs to undergo sputum test on july 30,31 & aug 1.. Because they found a scar in his lung. Now we are delayed for two months..

Try calling in the morning. I hope you get an August interview but I'm pretty sure you will, your CC date is not far from ours. I actually planned to wait for the appointment letter to arrive in my email, but other members are already posting that they already got their interview dates, the temptation is hard to resist I wanna know if they already have a schedule for us, so...I ended up calling them an hour before they wrapped up their day.

If it asks for a specific item/document on the package, then it's a real checklist however, if it asks for the whole(IV or AOS) package (even if you already sent it) then it's a false checklist, but call to be sure.
