  1. Checked my status today.. it changed from Administrative processing to Issued. I guess the visa should be in my pick up location within a few days.

Good luck everyone else who is waiting... once you see administrative processing... it wont be long and you will see issued... it changed within one day for me.

GOOD LUCK everyone,.. you will get your visa... dont worry.. just a matter of time.

  2. I kept checking the Status everyday.. and these few days I noticed that the dates updated from the CEAC website.

my status went from NO STATUS for almost 2.5 weeks .... to READY 4 days ago... and NOW its in Administrative Processing... in a matter of 2 days also my fiancee faxed the US consulate in her country a note asking for status and why its taking so long.. and they called her back and advised her that the system was being upgraded so the process is slower then usual. but they did say that they are working on her visa and that is should be ready by friday for pickup....

finally this process is almost ending and we will start another process once she is in the US.... cant wait until she get her hands on that visa lol...

  3. we got our interview on july 6. and check the status on the CEAC website and it still said ready when choose Immigrant Visa and input the case number we get status READY... when we choose NON Immigrant Visa and input the DS160 Case number.. we get a NO STATUS.... I had my GF.. goto the consulate but nothing.. I had her send email nothing... feels like we are in the dark...

I will call them up again next week if I do not hear anything or maybe will have her pay a visit to the US consulate in her country to find out whats going and and when will she get her passport back.

  4. You can use the NVC case status to track your case and see whenever the consulate receive it, it will show "READY" ... Also go to the embassy session and find out the information that is required from your consulate for the next step.. Good luck!

my friend.. I just checked the status site.. and it shows "Ready" today.. and saying we are ready for interview. so it means my fiance should be receiving packet 3 information in the post office mail to her house soon ?

so even tho we dont get that package.. we can still fill out DS160 form and pay visa fee and schedule for interview appointment ?

    THanks.

  5. Hi.. hope someone can fill me in on some information..

I called NVC today and was given a case number and IIN#. I also asked the nice lady... do she know if the case have been sent to the US consulate in taiwan.

the lady answered No case has not been sent yet.. so since I got the case number and IIN# do I only call DOS from now on ? and ask for update status of case being received at the US consulate in taiwan ?

or just sit tight and wait for the letter ? I like to be proactive if I can... to prepare for next step.

    Thanks

  6. Hi.. so our petition was approved and it went to NVC... I called NVC today and the lady gave me the case number and invoice ID#..

I also asked the lady if she has any information of the package being sent to the US consulate in Taiwan. and she said it has not been mailed out yet.

so for the time being... what do I do with the case number and invoice #... do I contact the US consulate in taiwan and give them the case number and ask if they received it or ? sorry.. but I am just paranoid and want to make sure I do everything right not waste unecessary time.

I hope someone can help me answer some of these questions I have..

    Thank you.

  7. Hi.. I am curious when I should call up NVC for the case number..

on may 8 2015 I got TXT message saying we got approved and we should receive our NOA2 hard copy via mail... and a week or two later I received the hard copy.... so Yesterday I called NVC to ask if they received my case yet... and they said nothing yet... and today I get a TXT message from USCIS

On May 28, 2015, we sent your case, Receipt Number SRCXXXXXXXXXX, to the Department of State for visa processing. Please visit our website for general information on Consular Processing. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

so does this mean I should call NVC in two week to check for case number ?

anyone already done this and let me know

    thanks.

  8. I was told that since I filed finance visa I-129F ... once the petition gets approved from USCIS it becomes a immigrant visa ? so my finance will have to file a immigrant visa within the US consulate in her country ? is that true ?

    DS-160: Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application

    DS-230: Application for Immigrant Visa

when calling NVC... which do we choose ? nonimmigrant visa ? or immigrant visa ?

    Thanks.

  9. For most adults you only need MMR, Tdap and Varicella. If you already had chicken pox, then you don't need varicella.

No you do not need HepB. HepB is a required vaccine if you are under 18 years of age.

This table will show you a list of all the required vaccinations for AOS based on your age: http://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/exams/ti/civil/vaccination-civil-technical-instructions.html#tbl1

    Zedayn.

so for the medical exam. before we go its best to follow the chart in your link and make sure those are done ? and if those are all done.

then we are good for the medical ?

  10. My Friend..today is my happiest day... I finally got a text message from USCIS , also today was my Bday lol what a Great freaking Bday Present lol.. I LOVE THIS!!! GIFT... my fellow october filers our time has come!!!

On May 8, 2015, we approved your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number SRCXXXXXXXX. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

  11. Hi. as it looks I am a filer for K-1 visa from OCT 2014, I am guessing it will take 8-10 months from the looks of the backup in TSC. my question is... I may have my fiance come visit me and stay with me on tourist visa for 90 days and then return back to her country. I was wondering if she can fill out the DS160 form in USA and then schedule the interview date while she is in USA ? or do she need to be back in her country for the schedule to be done ?

and how long do scheduling take ? 1month ? 2 months ? 2 weeks ? 3 weeks ? just trying to plan out what we can do if the process is taking longer.

also curious on how long does the process take after we receive the NOA2 ?will it also be backup like how Tsc ? or will it be more resonable time ??

    thanks.

  12. I got my NOA1 already.. and I sent the intent to marry document from me and my beneficiary along with the I-129F packet.

I know that we will also need a set of intent to marry with a later date which my beneficiary will need to bring with her to the interview ?

I am just trying to figure out what I need to prepare for before I get the NOA2 if I get it. and if not.. then will need to deal with RFE first.

  13. Guys.. would like second and third opinions please....

after we receive NOA1, I know that we need to get ready the affivdait of support I-134 and also Original statements (from both the US Citizen and foreign fiance) certifying an intent to marry within 90 days of entering the US on a valid K-1 , proof of ongoing relations , more pics and more letters and so on..

    anything else ?

what do she need to do while she wait for the letter from the embassy ? also once she receives the letter from embassy.. she will need to fill out an online application form DS-160 ? and goto get her medical ? police certificate ? anything else ?

    thanks.

  14. That's the thread I was referring to in my previous comment. :)

I haven't finished reading yet, but as I said, most people in the thread are from Canada- not that I think that Canadians have it way easier because in some cases they don't! But it's a little different.. Latins tend to get a harsher treatment when coming to the US, and plus, most people gave a valid, official reason for returning to their countries... ie: what i mentioned before- employment, house, etc. My fiance has none of those things. To the government he won't have a "valid reason to return" while he already showed intent to marry a USC by filing the K1.

No matter how many stories I read of these successes (again, most with solid evidence).. US Border Control specifically told me they most likely would deny entry without pay stubs or proof of owning a home. :/

Roll that dice.. its fun and exciting.. either way it will get your blood flowing :)

your fiance will not have issues getting into the States ... US Customs will probably ask him a few questions , like where he going, how long he staying.. who he visiting ?

thats what happen to my fiance when she came to the states from taiwan.. maybe we are more lucky ? Hell NO~~
