  1. Per the London embassy. At least for my case this gives me hope. We will see though

If you attended an immigrant or fiancé(e) visa interview prior to June 9, please be aware that the average processing time is 10-15 working days. However, in light of these technical issues, we ask that you allow additional time. The courier company will contact you by email with information about how to track your delivery as soon as your visa has been printed and delivery arrangements have been made. There is no mechanism for checking the status of your application until that time.

  2. Unfortunately for all of us if any of us are stuck in limbo for the technical issues then they can't help us. They have said they can't issue it even if they wanted to because it would mean skipping the security checks and they said they won't do that. :( Our only hope is "The 100 civilian and non-civilian experts working around the clock on this issue" can fix it early next week. Surely to god that many techs can figure it out. I mean come on, my stuff at work is never down more than 24 hours because we have experts. They need to find a good computer person already.

  3. Agreed. I to have just kind of stayed at home just checking everything every minute hoping for some type of good news. And yes you are right. It's hard to understand if you haven't been there. And for you guys that just got your approvals, I do say congrats to you and honestly I hope this all clears up for all of us and we can move on.

Its a pretty horrible position for us all to be in. Its upsetting to read so many going through pain because of these issues.

I have my interview on Monday. I have my wedding, with family booked flights, and venue paid for, on July 25th. My fiance is also 26 weeks pregnant and in pain from pregnacy issues. We are also due to move into a new house on July 16th. This delay could not have come at a worse time for us.

Its complete tortue to be so close to the finish line, and have it pulled away at the last minute.

We both have cried lots, and i cannot shake a deep anxiety about the whole issue. How on earth im going to handle the wait now, i dont know. But me and Erin love each other very much, and we will get through this and it will be all the sweeter when im home, in her arms.

I'm going to try and plead my case on Monday, and hope, if anything i can be home for the wedding on July 25th. I'm hoping, praying, and keeping fingers crossed not just for me, but for everyone.

I wish the best for everyone.

I wish you guys the best as well. we have our wedding set and paid for as well for July 18th which I didn't do until after the approval. Same thing for the vacation at the beginning of July. You think after the approval t is safe you know to book things that far in advance...but I guess you never know. I know it must be hard for you too since you guys are expecting. I hope for a quick resolution for us all.

  4. Deborah, I do not know what I would do. That has got to be so extremely frustrating not knowing what is going on. :(

I think I am all cried out. I spent the weekend balled up in the fetal position and now just feel sort of numb. If one more person asks me when James is going to get here I might get arrested. :clock::cry:

Yeah me too, I've pretty much cried every day for over a week. I'm so over this now, I just want an answer as to what is going on, if it is effected then don't keep running me around because you didn't do your job. I just need to know so I can decide what to do about our trip. I am just so exhausted from stress and worry and honestly I swear I know people mean well...but if I have one more person here at home tell me it will be ok i'll get here I might lose it and smack someone. I hate this for all of us, it's like TSC people are still losing out even thought we are far away from TSC now. I hate this for all of us :crying::cry:

  5. See that's my biggest fear for ours. It was approved on the 5th so according to them it isn't part of that technical issue (also everyone on that date already has theirs) but my fear is since ours hasn't changed at all except the last update status that someone fell down on their job and didn't do what they were suppose towhen they were suppose to and now it is going to be affected by that after all. I keep just getting the run around. They keep telling me that it's not in AP and that it isn't affected but I don't know what to believe anymore. I am thinking he'll make it in time for the wedding on July 18th but I'm so afraid he won't make it in time for our vacation we paid for which is fourth of July weekend. I'm just sort of freaking out and getting a straight answer from them is like pulling teeth. They won't tell us it is part of that glitch when we call like I said so I still don't think it is but have no idea what is happening . They just said you'll have it in a couple days then nothing, so we call back and nowthey said to call and speak with supervisor tomorrow. It's like no offense to all the California people, cause they are super lucky, but I'm so angry at the fact that most of the people interviewed same date as us are from CA and so they haven't been waiting as long as we have yet they already have their visas. It's just not fair to any of us. :crying::crying::cry:

  6. No it hasn't. And some people's did that as well that day. It's like they just forgot ours or something except that they have updated it based on last update date. I emailed them again and we are going to call back and request a supervisor. Because according to them nothing is wrong with it just normal processing so it doesn't make sense.

I'm just so upset over it I don't know what is going on. He doesn't mean any of those things that would cause a long ap and for that matter it's not even went into ap. So I just don't get it.

  7. Thanks DeborahNeil. :) can't wait to get my passport back so that we can book flights. It's getting to be more expensive as the days go on.. He is so excited he wants to book mid july lol.

I can totally relate to that. We were approved on June 5 and still waiting for our visa to be issued. Everyone else on that date so far has gotten theirs and they say it's not waiting on the system problems just to wait a couple more days. blah blah. I was hoping he could fly by Sunday since like you said every day it gets more expensive. Good luck

    ~ Deborah

  8. I'm so frustrated. Embassy says we are not delayed by the problems but to allow a couple more days to issue our visa. Everyone I can find that was interviewed the same day as us has already had theirs for several days. And we are not in AP. I am just so frustrated.. I wanted him to fly before Sunday because the prices go up affter that. I am so irritated that he's not gotten it yet. I just don't get why and getting information is like pulling teeth. Suggestions? :(

  9. Well when we called he said of course it was turned over to the non I side now so we should use our ds number. But obviously we know that to not be true. But just for the heck of it I had tried before just our of curiosity to put his ds number in on the non I search and it returned no data. Then today it showed a case out there with no status obviously but a case create date of last night. Then layer today the date was now changed to April something like my immigrant lnd one is. I don't know or think it means anything other than they are at least doing something lol I just found it interesting. And our lnd case was updated again yesterday and dude says we should have it in a couple days so just hoping it's issued today. Because man the flights get expensive after Sunday :/

  10. Hmmm, possibly.. You mentioned that Neil ended up calling them. Did he received any updates in the due course at all?

They didn't give him any updates on the system problem if that is what you mean. Only to pretty much verify that ours wouldn't be effected since we were approved before the 8th. Which is what it says on the website. They said that he should get itin the next couple of days. Then all of a sudden the update date changed and also there is now a non immigrate case number out there for us as well (which wasn't as of last night) and the creation date has now changed. So i hoping all of those are good signs. But who knows anymore.

  11. No I missed it, I wanted to participate but had to work. And we were approved on 06/05 along with others (who have gotten their visa already) and according to the website it won't effect us anyways only those that were approved on or after the 8th. However, I know that is not always the truth, ya know. So Neil called them today and they said that we should have ours in the next couple of days. and they actually did create a case under our number for a non-immigrant one which I know they normally do just before it's issued. He didn't say it was effected just that it is taking awhile. Which I am sure is because they are bombarded with calls and emails as to what is going on. Regardless of our case, I hope they fix it soon for everyone. Thanks for the info.
