dustyrah got a reaction from Soloenta in February 2015 Interviews
You just need to have the interview and get back your passport with visa to end this process. Let them figure out the case number etc.

Click on the "Review" link on the top. Then on the left side click the last section at the bottom which is "Preparer Information". Ok, now click the "Next: Confirmation" red button on bottom right. Now at this point, you have the option to print the entire DS-260 including confirmation number and all that stuff.
Biometrics are done on the day of interview but it may not be so in some countries. I hope someone can correct me if I am wrong.

You can use a VPN service such as http://www.vpnbook.com andconnect to an American server. Once connected you can use Google to call them.

Its ALWAYS busy and you have to keep calling every 1 minute to get a connection. Eventually you will get a connection...I have found it easier to get into the hold by calling when its close to their closing time.

They told me it takes 60 days for them to review emails. Calling them is the best way. I use the Google dialer from within Gmail to give them.

I would pay the wife's fees and send out the documents ASAP. There is no point in waiting for son's fees to get invoiced and delay the wife's process.

It is better to include 2 photocopies of each original with case number written on top right corner. This way they won't have to take your original off to some photocopier only to forget it there and lose it. Also, they do request at least 1 photocopy so might as well provide them with 2 just in case.

If you had no income at all last year, just show 2010-2012 tax returns. Because we are not required to file tax returns for 2013 until April 15th 2014. In some cases, people get an extension to file even later. And tax transcripts are not available immediately upon filing and take 8 to 10 weeks to obtain.
Also, you may want to look at any assets you can demonstrate to make up for the last year's income. Worst case scenario, just get your parents to do the co-sponsorship.

Did you file 2013 tax returns? You have to submit either 1 year tax return or 3 years tax returns(you can include 2011 and 2013 to show good income history). If you have not already filed 2013 tax return, make sure you include all income and not just income from job.All of the income together should be over the poverty level and not just income through a job so try that angle.
Also, you can include current pay stubs to show you are earning well above the poverty level.
