  1. Yeah, mine had it too.

I was just trying to figure out if it was what i thought it was, the ds260, or if i needed to do something more.

I am setting a file with everything from I-130 to the AOS and IV packet. I don't want to miss anything.

Damn husbands, always keeping their calm while we pull our hair.

Mine is like, don't worry we are fine, nothing to stress about it...

And i'll be like: BUT BUT BUT....

    Haha so truuue!!!

But yes it is definitely the DS260, I misread your question sorry.

At least you're not dealing with 6 tickets Kuwait-Denver as I would when the time comes. $8,000-$10,000 if I book 4 months in advance. Can't do it though... I'm an AP magnet.

Hope I just made you feel a little better about your situation. ;)

Hahah so true!!! Lol, he is laughing cos I just read out these posts lol.

    Eek six tiks ouchies!

  2. Thank you both for your answers! I am feeling anxious too. I feel like I'm going to jinx it if I book in advance lol! Maybe I should look for a flexible ticket, it should be still less expensive than last minutes tickets. A $400 fee is annoying though, plus the price difference I guess... Arghhh I found a one-way non-refundable ticket at 500 euros - vs 1500 if I was leaving next week. My husband tells me to wait though :-/

Yeah the price difference too, could be up there. I could do without this anxiety, husband is not worried, thinks it will be fine. Lol.i try not to mention it every day, but am on here checking everyone's dates from interview to visa in hand from london.

  3. Sorry I am writing this from my phone. We got the interview letter, P4, yesterday June 11. My husbands interview is scheduled for July 15 at 8:30am. Anyone who has their interview at the London embassy, how can we request for an earlier interview date? Our first child was born yesterday, and my husband missed the delivery, but would love for him to be here sooner than July. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi everyone. I am hesitating to book my flight tickets now, as they will be 3 times more expensive if I buy them last minute (ie waiting to receive my visa)... Just wanted to know if I will be the only lady booking in advance? AP can happen to everyone so I am hesitating... :-/

    congrats on new baby!

We bought our flights, if his visa does not come in time, or if he gets AP we will have to pay a 400$ change flight fee to our travel agent. Ick. Fingers crossed

  4. Congratulations! My husband was approved in London on May 30th and we're still waiting for his passport. It has been shown as issued since June 2nd and he received an email from the embassy on June 6th saying it would be delivered soon. We're hoping to get it tomorrow or Thursday the latest. He has called the depot every day to see if it's there and they've been very friendly and helpful!

Please let me know when you get it! Good luck!!
  5. We are just going through our interview letter now.. And what our lawyer said, and making our folder.

can you believe it!!! The NVC letter .. For passport gives the code Y which says "the NVC sent this form or document to the us embassy or consulate"

WHAT! Lol imagine some poor sod actually following their letter and NOT taking the passport. EEK! Makes me worried there is other stuff wrong on our interview letter now. hopefully my lawyers advice is correct.

  7. My husband's interview is next Friday. I am so nervous. Below is what I am sending with him to the interview. I hope all goes well.

    · P4 Interview Letter

    · Passport

    · Two US Passport Photos

    · Police Certificate

    · Affidavit of Support - Updated with 2013 Tax return

    · Courier Confirmation

    · Confirmation of DS-260

    I just want him home.

Our letter didn't ask for aos or confirmation of ds260, our lawyer never said either. Should we just print it anyway? How do i do that? As it was all dine by lawyer then sent to NVC.

    Thanks.

  8. It's roughly £2500 door to port and it's all inclusive(except insurance). You can get cheaper and more expensive but as always, cheap isn't always the best way to go.

We are loading my stuff directly into the container at the storage facility where it's stored and I am picking it up from the docks in Houston.

If you need any specifics, just ask.

    Rich

That is pretty handy and not astronomically expensive.
  9. Where abouts in Scotland do you stay? I was told that DX would not deliver to my postcode so it got passed to the Royal Mail. I think this added an extra day on.

Sorry not trying to scare you, but it might be different for you.

Btw despite being told DX do not deliver to my postcode, since then I've seen countless DX vans pass me...

Oh we saw that, up further eh right? We are in Dundee, I think we are ok... Off to double check!

  10. I tried a number of different recipes to make the oatcakes myself, but it's not quite the same.

When I lived in Florida there was a new British pub which opened up, and they had the fish and chips with mushy peas! I was in heaven. There's a good presence there, so you may find one! Google British Florida. :)

No, I tried them too, they didn't go crispy enough, maybe needs to b a higher heat, need a griddle and an Aga.

I will google Thant.. So far all the Irish pubs I've been to here in orlando do not have fishnn chips done right, the batter just isn't right.
