Finally, I received the text from USCI like 15mins ago that "my card has been produced".

Omg...!!! I feel like I won 1 million dollars from lottery. Lol...

Have you filed ombudsman? You should really send in ead renewal apps especially if you are working. It might take a month or two to issue. My husband just wants the greencard too. We filed with ombudsman in march, called tuesday and said they were investigating our case and should hear back in a week. Next week on the 20th will be 1 year since noa1.

No, I have never contact ombudsman as I just wanna stay calm, focus on my job and put the trust in God's hands.

Wow our timelines almost mirror each other. Have you filed a service request? How about ombudsman? Contacted your congressman or senator? I found out from a service request that our file is in manchester field office. Supposedly it should have action anyday now, but the wait is ridiculous

I did contact service request, but they were absolutely useless. I called to the service centre to check about my case. Those dummy ones could only tell the same things I found only myself. Useles!!! ????

wow our timelines are similar...i was predicting to refile the ead renewal after april 17th but hopefully my husband will have his greencard by then. I have filed 3-4 service requests and contacted a senator and it all got the same answer "a delay in processing". I also filed for obudsman (spelling?) and heard nothing as well.

Oh gosh...!!! I have reached 6 months of waiting for my GC approval after NPIW. So far I got no news yet. I have submitted a request for check status on Feb 24, and it's supposed to give me some answer by today March 19, I still got nothing still. What are they actually doing in their office???? ????

Don't stress out guys, my wife has used her advance parole several times to exit and re-enter the country without a problem. When you present your advance parole also present your notice of action that you received with advance parole.

Hello all, I actually went to the uscis in SLC a week ago because I need to go back to Peru by December 12th. They said i am in normal processing time because since I already had an interview back when I was applying for a K1 visa it was not necessary for me to go for another interview. I am freaking out because i did not want to use the AP to leave the country but since it is really an important event for my family I will take a chance, I did tell the officer that I submitted every paperwork on time so this whole situation would not happen. I filed back in February and as i was checking my case status the other day i started going back a few cases, let's suppose my case is (XXXX26) and I went back and found out that the case XXXXX20 was fully approved last friday 14th. I do remember that case number and mine were both in the same status, same dates, same updates, same everything last week. Hopefully I can receive my green card before I leave because everything is fully booked I really hope this whole thing moves faster. It reminds me when I was in the k1 visa situation last year and all the centers practically stopped for 2 months and it delayed every single person on my timeline.

You are in exact same situation as me. I will surely taking the risk by using the AP for traveling on Dec 11 to my country.

Since you already received EAD card, it will be a letter.

Hello Supergirl, you already have an interview scheduled for Nov 25, which is about two weeks time, I would advice you to wait for your GN, with your GN you can get your SSN, besides if you get the SSN with your EAD, it will have a restriction on it, meaning, you would still need to go back to apply for a new SSN with your GN to remove the restriction.

Ok.So today i went to SSN Office to get ssn num.brought my EAD and passport but bc my passport was expired they told me that they cant do anything for me.They gave me a letter that ssn cannot be issued at this time.I went to DMV and got my Temporary ID card valid for 1 year like EAD.Gonna come back on monday to get ssn.

You gotta renew your passport first. These people are so picky.

I applied for AP with all the other paperwork on October 9. I'd like to leave to go back to Canada and do a work contract in early January - will my AP likely be approved by then? Does a work contract count as an acceptable reason for "emergency" AP, and can I even apply for emergency AP when I have already applied the usual way?

It usually take about 75-85 days to get approval. However, mine was pretty fast. I applied on Sept 23, and got approved message from them today. Total 44 days only.

I mailed my I131 separated from the adjustment status package ( 485&765). Today I just got this on my status of i131

"Post Decision Activity

On November 6, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations."

I wonder if this Advace Parole is just a document or it's a card like work permit. The status just shows it has been approved and mailed out, but it did not move to "Card production" first before they mail to me.

I contacted senator's office a week ago asking them to get an update on my case on my behalf. Here's an answer from uscis ".... case has been identified as a possible interview waiver case and is currently being held at the NBC pending a field office review. The interview waiver cases are being shipped to the local USCIS field offices based on field office capacity. At this time the processing time is approximately 9-12 months."

It will be 10 months next week since I filed my docs. I will probably have to file for a new work permit card because the one I have expires in March and I am not sure if I will have GC by then. Does anybody know if applying for a work permit renewal card incurs a fee?

I finally got my reference number from the phone. Lol I just called to them again just now and the guy said the letter of acceptance has been sent out on Oct 10. Gosh...!!! For confirmation letter from Chicago lock box used to be only 10days max to receive it. Now it's going up to 4 weeks. Man....!!!!

It seems like something wrong with USCIS.

I sent out i131 (Sept 23)separately from the package cuz after I received interview waiver letter (Sept 15), I think there is no way that I would get GC for travelling to visit my parents for this Christmas. However, it's over 4 weeks now that I don't even receive a notice of Acceptence. It's supposed to be max 10 days for sending to Lockbox in Chicago.

I called to them last week. They said try again this week there is nothing show up in there system yet. That's insane !!!!

Since I am now in the Waiting for GC situation with interview waiver, I just sent out application i131 for Advanced Parol cuz I need to visit my family in Christmas and I have no idea how long I need to wait for GC.

Now the problem is that, the application was sent out 2 weeks ago by express mail, which was supposed to be there by the next day. However, until now ( 2 weeks passed) I have not received any NOA in email or mail at all. What's going on there? ???
