  1. I'm a bit worry about that . They told me at interview that my case is not gonna be under administrative processing , May be your case is a bit different from mine . as the embassy needs the Israeli criminal certificate , it takes 3 weeks to get it . It has been 2 weeks now and it still says AP . your case has been updated 3 times . it means they are working on it . I wish you see issued soon . your case shows ready , means you are closer to be Issued .

  2. Your statues is the same of mine . My interview was on Feb 23 and we were told that we are approved, and I'm still waiting to see " issued " . My case was ready . then after the interview it shows administrative processing . I have emailed the consulate for more information , they have no complete answer but just waiting . I think it's a normal processing as I read in VJ .

  3. Hello .

you have to call NVC , to be sure that they receive your petition , then you have to prepare all of your original documents , and they will ask you about AOS and some original documents via emile , nd they will send you the address .

I have got my interview date from NVC after 3 months of working and after i sent all the original documents such as birth certificate, marriage certificate , and other documents .

My interview was at Feb 23 , 2015 on Monday, I went to the consulate early and arrived at nine o'clock in the morning .. there were no queues in consulate , It seemed that I'm number one who arrived the consulate. After I finished the security measures and inspection .. I sat in the hall for a period of not more than two minutes..after two minutes of waiting .. I heard my name and I went to the co-employee window . He reviewed my papers and documents and prepared me to meet the consular . He said that my documents are ok but the affidavit of support may not be accepted , but the final decision is between the hands of consular. and he told me to sit down a little and that I gonna hear my name again to meet the consular ..After a minute I heard my name. It was window number 17 . the Consular was handsome man at the age of nearly 40 years .This is the interview .

Consular : (smile ) Good morning
    Me : Good morning
Consular : How are you ?
    Me : I'm fine , Thank you
Consular : Do you speak English ?
    Me : Yes , I do
    Consular : OK , that's good
    Me : simple smile
Consular : Who is ( my wife name ) ?
Me : She is my wife
Consular : Where is she ?
Me : she is in america , California , San Diego .
Consular : Does she have brothers there ?
    Me : yes .
    Consular : ok , good , good
consular : would you raise your hand please ?
    Me : ok
consular : Do you swear that everything in the papers is true ? Yes or no
    Me : Yes

then the consular takes my fingerprints , he didn't ask me for emails , photos , letters . and he said thank you . At that moment , I was wondering about Affidavit of support and what if it was accepted or what , and the miracle was when the consular told me that the affidavit of support is ok :dancing: . I was surprised that everything is ok and then the consular said , please sit down and the co-employee will told you what to do next . after 3 minutes . i heard my name again ,and the co-employee told me that i have to get a clearance from an Israeli center ( i'm Palestinian ) near the consulate , and he gave me the address and i got it . the employee told me that it takes from 1 week to 3 weeks to get the visa . I asked the co-employee if my case would be under AP , he said " I don't think so " . Today is a week after my interview day .

  7. Hello friends

I was so happy . I have got an interview date , omg , thanks god , my dream , my future , my beloved .... WHAT'S UP ? , WAR WAR WAR ..

After my interview being delayed for more than 2 weeks , due to the war in Gaza Strip . Today I have got the new appointment which is on 23/10/2014 . Thanks for everyone helped me and thanks for your prayers . my dream is going to be true . wish all your dreams come true guys .

  8. Thanks my friends . I have emaild the Embasy . and I got this letter .

    Dear Sir,
Thank you for your email, and we realize that this is a difficult time for those in Gaza and their loved ones outside who are concerned about their welfare. The Consulate General continues to seek opportunities to assist United States citizens in departing Gaza, but cannot facilitate travel out of Gaza for visa holders or applicants.
We realize that the time periods for processing immigrant visa applications can cause frustration to many individuals, and we are sensitive to the many possible sources of instability and conflict in the region. Nonetheless, the Consulate General, like all U.S. embassies and consulates, must adjudicate visas in accordance with the provisions of the law and an interview with a consular officer is necessary before any travel authorization can be issued.
Please note that applicants residing in Gaza may visit during working hours (Monday to Friday, 7:45 am to 2:00 pm) any time they are able to obtain a permit to enter Jerusalem. Under normal circumstances immigrant visa applicants request a permit to enter Jerusalem by providing their appointment letters to the authorities in charge at Erez checkpoint. However, the Consulate General in Jerusalem cannot provide any additional assistance facilitating immigrant visa applicant’s entrance into Jerusalem. If the Erez checkpoint is closed by the Government of Israel for entry-permit applications, you will have to wait until the checkpoint reopens to visit Jerusalem.
  9. Good evening to all friends.

I recently got an appointment for an interview in the U.S. embassy in the city of Jerusalem, and the deadline is August 14.2014 .. I live in Gaza Strip and perhaps you have heard about the war now taking place in Gaza and there're no solutions in sights perhaps I can not reach the embassy in order to make the interview because the only crossing which I can enter to conduct the interview is completely destroyed .Some friends advise me to postpone the interview and obtain a new date .What If i couldn't reach to embassy ? what actions should I take ?? how long does it take to obtain a new appointment ?

    Thanks .

  10. The National Visa Center (NVC) completed the domestic pre-processing of the immigrant visa petition JRS..... filed by ........ on behalf of ..........
